Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Pantograph and catenary off-line brings great harm to the safe and reliable operation of subway vehicles. The equivalent process during off-line and the off-line equivalent circuit of subway vehicles was proposed. Taking a metro vehicles powered auxiliary inverter system as an example, the off-line transient analysis was carried out, and a simulation test was conducted. As shown in the results, the useful signal during off-line greatly reduced in vehicle system and the harmonics of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) voltage was greatly increased. The questions about heat-resistant and insulation arose, which caused the inverter module to damage and greatly …

Optimized design of the electric field distribution of the connector can improve stability of CRH. The sheath installation position, sheath structure and thickness of the insulation layer were analyzed to see its influence on the distribution of field intensity. The simulation results show that insulating jacket positioned at the high voltage end of cable connector can effectively improve the electric field distribution, insulation sheath should appress to the high voltage fitting end of the cable connector and also extend to the root of first …
A 2.56 Gbps Serial Wireline Transceiver That Supports An Auxiliary Channel And A Hybrid Line Driver To Compensate Large Channel Loss, Xiaoran Wang
Electrical Engineering Theses and Dissertations
Serial transceiver links are widely used for high-speed point-to-point communications. This dissertation describes two transceiver link designs for two different applications.
In serial wireline communications, security is an increasingly important factor to concern. Securing an information processing system at the application and system software layers is regarded as a necessary but incomplete defense against the cyber security threats. In this dissertation, an asynchronous serial transceiver that is capable of transmitting and receiving an auxiliary data stream concurrently with the primary data stream is described. The transceiver instantiates the auxiliary data stream by modulating the phase of the primary data without …

Abstract: High/Low Temperature Environmental Simulation System is mainly used for the functional deploying test of the giant space deployable antenna and some large-scale structures at extreme high/low temperatures, and some other relevant tests. This project requests controlling the parameters of the system in a large range with high accuracy and no overshoot. Temperature control system has features of non-linearity, time-variant, and large delay, which seriously affect the speed and accuracy of the control. However, the conventional PID finds it difficult to achieve desired effect of control. A new scheme of compound control which is referred to as fuzzy-PID control based …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Image compositing requires dense inter-node communications and could easily become the bottleneck of a parallel visualization system. Conventional image compositing algorithms assume the environment is homogeneous and take no heterogeneity into consideration. In a heterogeneous environment, this assumption is likely to cause unreasonable load distribution among the nodes. To address this problem, we present a group-based image compositing algorithm in heterogeneous environments. It is able to distribute the workloads among the nodes according to computing and networking characteristics of the heterogeneous environments. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation on the ns-3 network simulator. Experiment results shows that when the environment …
