The concept of tourism destination competitiveness (TDC) is very complex, and so is developing a model for different destination contexts. The study aims to identify variables to measure the overall TDC of destination brand Kerala (India). A quantitative research design is followed based on a self-administered questionnaire survey strategy. A comprehensive study of various indices and published literature on TDC is conducted to arrive at a detailed list of variables for measuring competitiveness. Hospitaleros who volunteer in the hostels along the Camino de Santiago have, to the best of our knowledge, not yet been examined, from the perspectives of voluntourism and pilgrimage research. This article aims to give an insight into a unique form of volunteering based on 32 interviews with hostel wardens conducted between 2017 and 2021. The results indicate that – while hospitaleros primarily indicate interpersonal motives for their service – the voluntary work serves as a kind of “substitute drug” to satisfy the longing for and dependence on the Camino. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari data Badan Pusat Statistik yaitu: Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK), harga beras, harga daging ayam ras, harga minyak goreng. Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) menjadi acuan yang digunakan untuk menentukan kategori komposisi berat badan. Pengukuran IMT juga berkaitan dengan status gizi yang mempengaruhi kesehatan seseorang. Pada anak-anak yang memiliki berat badan berlebihan, lengkung kaki cenderung datar (flatfoot) karena beban yang ditumpu tubuh lebih besar, sehingga dapat menyebabkan diantaranya nyeri, cedera, gangguan berjalan, dan ketidakseimbangan ketika berdiri lama. Studi ini menggambarkan penyusutan arsip rekam medis di rumah sakit vertikal Kementerian Kesehatan menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan no. 269 Tahun 2008 tentang Rekam Medis. Rekam medis adalah berkas yang berisikan catatan dan dokumen tentang identitas pasien, pemeriksaan, pengobatan, tindakan dan pelayanan lain yang telah diberikan kepada pasien. Rekam medis merupakan bagian dari arsip sesuai dengan definisi arsip yang mengacu pada Undang-undang No. 43 Tentang Kearsipan sehingga kegiatan penyusutan akan mendukung proses pengelolaan rekam medis secara efisien. UU No. 13 Tahun 2011 tentang Penanganan Fakir Miskin mengatur bahwa fakir miskin berhak untuk meningkatkan kondisi keuangan yang sustainable. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dengan menggunakan data primer untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang minat dan jenis pelatihan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat dan menggunakan metode wawancara untuk mendapatkan data tentang infrasinfratruktur serta media yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran/pelatihan jarak jauh di Program Pendidikan Vokasi UI. Since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, at least 140 cities across the United States have experienced protests resulting in vandalism, looting, shootings, and other violence. These protests represent a challenge for community organizations such as convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), whose responsibility is to promote their local community as a place for tourism, meetings, conferences, and other activities. There is a rise in niche travel for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community. However, few studies have investigated how the hotel industry can best appeal to these customers. At UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Dr. Heejung Ro has undertaken the first study focusing on how LGBT friendliness and the attitudes of service employees may impact upon LGBT customers' perceptions and future intentions. While the findings revealed these two factors are regarded independently, it is important that hotels signal LGBT friendliness, as well as ensuring these travelers are treated respectfully.

Despite the importance of involving residents in local tourism, few research studies have investigated the concept of empowerment. A novel study conducted by UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management researchers Dr. Kayode D. Aleshinloye and Dr. Asli D.A. Tasci and their collaborators explores the drivers of empowerment within tourism and, in turn, the factors that empowerment influences. Their research highlights the potential benefits for residents, such as improved quality of life and attachment to their surroundings, and has important practical implications for tourism planners and policymakers.
