Software vulnerabilities have become a severe cybersecurity issue. There are numerous resources of industry best practices available, but it is still challenging to effectively teach secure coding practices. The resources are not designed for classroom usage because the amount of information is overwhelming for students. There are efforts in academia to introduce secure coding components into computer science curriculum, but a big gap between industry best practices and workforce skills still exists. In recent years, E-textbooks have become a real alternative to the traditional textbooks in higher education. Many institutions have been encouraging their usage with mixed success. This study investigates students’ perceptions of E-textbooks in a medium-sized university in the Midwestern United States and measures students’ intention to adopt E-textbooks where they had an option to choose between traditional textbooks and E-textbooks for their classes. Literature reviews indicated some inconsistencies related to E-textbook adoptions. We used the Technology Acceptance model to investigate these inconsistencies. Research Summary Strategy research views firms' diverse experience base as critical to new product success. It also champions strategy-by-doing in entrepreneurial settings. This study juxtaposes and bridges these two perspectives to better understand product development. We propose that while a firm's product portfolio diversity contributes to new product success only to a certain degree, design iteration-a postlaunch strategy-by-doing approach-is positively associated with new product performance. Our core contribution points to a complementary relationship: strategy-by-doing helps mitigate the capacity constraints problem that prevents firms from successfully adapting product development capabilities to a dynamic market. One of the crowdfunding purposes is to fund entrepreneurial ventures. As production processes improve, the stimulation of economic growth has overlooked its externalities over time. In pursuit of sustainable development, nations were driven to combat climate change and increasing greenhouse gas emissions through the Kyoto Protocol. The policy brief is based on the investigation of the Kyoto Protocol Mechanisms (Clean Development and Emissions Trading Scheme) through difference-in-difference (DID) estimation, together with panel regression to evaluate the path towards viability using the metrics for externalities (total greenhouse gas emissions) and economic growth (GDP).
