งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการและสร้างตัวแบบการพยากรณ์ความต้องการการใช้ตู้คอนเทนเนอร์สำหรับการขนส่งทางทะเลของเส้นทางสิงคโปร์ – จีนของบริษัทในกรณีศึกษาให้มีความแม่นยำมากกว่าค่าพยากรณ์ปัจจุบันของบริษัท เพื่อนำค่าพยากรณ์ที่แม่นยำขึ้นไปใช้จัดทำสัญญาจองตู้คอนเทนเนอร์กับบริษัทสายการเดินเรือต่าง ๆ และทำให้สามารถลดปัญหาการขาดแคลนตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ลงได้ การศึกษาเริ่มจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อทำความเข้าใจปัญหาในปัจจุบัน และวิเคราะห์หาวิธีแก้ไข โดยพบว่าในปัจจุบันทางบริษัทใช้การแปลงค่าแผนการขายเป็นจำนวนตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ที่ต้องการใช้ ซึ่งค่าที่ได้มีความแม่นยำต่ำ เนื่องจากไม่สามารถระบุเส้นทางที่ใช้ได้โดยตรง ผู้วิจัยจึงนำเสนอให้นำคำสั่งซื้อรายเดือนของแต่ละเส้นทาง มาพยากรณ์ด้วยวิธีพยากรณ์เชิงปริมาณตามอนุกรมเวลาโดยตรงแทน ในส่วนของการสร้างตัวแบบพยากรณ์ ผู้วิจัยรวบรวมข้อมูลคำสั่งซื้อจาก 10 เส้นทางของทุกกลุ่มสินค้า หลังจากนั้นจึงทำความสะอาดข้อมูลและสร้างตัวแบบพยากรณ์ด้วยวิธีการหาค่าเฉลี่ยเคลื่อนที่, วิธีการปรับเรียบเอกซ์โพเนนเชียลอย่างง่าย, วิธีพยากรณ์อย่างง่ายสำหรับข้อมูลแนวโน้ม, วิธีการหาค่าเฉลี่ยเคลื่อนที่สองครั้ง, วิธีการปรับเรียบเอกซ์โพเนนเชียลซ้ำสองครั้ง, วิธีการปรับเรียบเอกซ์โพเนนเชียลของฮอล์ท และวิธีบ็อกซ์-เจนกินส์ ตามความเหมาะสม และเปรียบเทียบความแม่นยำด้วยค่า MPE, MAPE และ RMSE เพื่อหาตัวแบบที่ให้ความแม่นยำสูงสุด จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า ตัวแบบที่ให้ความแม่นยำสูงสุดของแต่ละเส้นทางมีความแตกต่างกัน ทำให้นำไปใช้งานจริงได้ยาก และพบว่าการสร้างตัวแบบตามลักษณะข้อมูลของแต่ละกลุ่มสินค้า กล่าวคือใช้วิธี บ็อกซ์-เจนกินส์กับข้อมูลกลุ่มสินค้า A และ C ใช้วิธีหาค่าเฉลี่ยเคลื่อนที่สองครั้งกับข้อมูลกลุ่มสินค้า B และนำค่าที่ได้มารวมกันเป็นค่าของแต่ละเส้นทาง ให้ค่าความแม่นยำอยู่ใน 3 อันดับแรกของทุก ๆ เส้นทาง จึงสามารถนำมาใช้กับทุกเส้นทางได้ โดยค่าพยากรณ์มีความแม่นยำมากขึ้น 11% โดยเฉลี่ย รวมถึงตัวแบบดังกล่าวยังสามารถลดปัญหาค่าพยากรณ์น้อยกว่ายอดคำสั่งซื้อจริงโดยรวมได้อีกด้วย

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างรูปแบบโมเดลการพยากรณ์ที่เหมาะสมให้กับสินค้าที่ทำรายได้หลักให้กับบริษัทกรณีศึกษา เนื่องจากในปัจจุบันบริษัทกรณีศึกษาไม่มีรูปแบบการพยากรณ์ยอดขายสินค้าไม่ชัดเจนโดยทำการพยากรณ์ความต้องการล่วงหน้าและทำการวัดค่าความคลาดเคลื่อน (Error) เพื่อเลือกรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมกับแต่ละสินค้า อีกทั้งยังทำการศึกษานโยบายพัสดุคงคลังในปัจจุบันของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา โดยมุ่งเน้นเป้าหมายไปที่การลดต้นทุนพัสดุคงคลัง โดยในปัจจุบันพบว่าบริษัทกรณีศึกษามีระดับพัสดุคงคลังสูงซึ่งมีความไม่สอดคล้องไปในแนวเดียวกับความต้องการทำให้บริษัทกรณีศึกษามีค่าการเก็บรักษาสินค้าสูงตามไปด้วยเช่นกัน โดยนำค่าพยากรณ์ที่ได้มาช่วยในการกำหนดนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังรูปแบบใหม่ขึ้นมาเพื่อเปรียบเทียบกับนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังรูปแบบปัจจุบันรวมทั้งใช้วิธีการจำลองสถานการณ์เพื่อสร้างนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น ผลการศึกษาพบว่าภายใต้ขอบเขตการวิจัยสินค้าแต่ละชนิดมีรูปแบบการพยากรณ์ที่แตกต่างกันโดยต้องคำนึงถึงหลายปัจจัย การวิจัยนี้สามารถแก้ปัญหาระดับพัสดุคงคลังของบริษัทกรณีศึกษาได้โดยนโยบายพัสดุคงรูปแบบใหม่สามารถลดต้นทุนรวมต่อปีได้หากเทียบกับนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังในรูปแบบปัจจุบัน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบจากการบังคับใช้มาตรฐาน GSDP ต่อการจัดการการกระจายสินค้า 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความพร้อมของผู้ประกอบการขนส่งในประเทศไทย 3) เพื่อสรุปประเด็นที่ผู้ประกอบการมีความพร้อมและที่ไม่พร้อมในการดำเนินงานตามมาตรฐาน GSDP การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจกลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ กลุ่มผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ทั้งรถขนส่งและคลังสินค้า จำนวน 77 ราย โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และในส่วนของการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน โดยผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) กลุ่มผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ของบริษัทแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย มีความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับตัวมาตรฐาน GSDP ในระดับสูงมาก เนื่องจากร้อยละ 76 สามารถทำแบบสอบถามได้ถูกต้องครบทั้ง 6 ข้อ 2) กลุ่มผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ของบริษัทแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย มีความพร้อมในการปรับใช้มาตรฐาน GSDP เข้ากับการทำงานได้เป็นอย่างดี คือผลลัผธ์ออกมาที่ระบบมาก 3) แต่มีอยู่หนึ่งหัวข้อที่ กลุ่มผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ของบริษัทแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทยได้คะแนนความพร้อมอยู่ในระดับปานกลางต่างออกมาจากหัวข้ออื่น คือด้านความเหมาะสมของสถานที่ปฏิบัติงาน

With the deepening of power market reform, distributed power generation is gaining momentum. This paper tests the distributed photovoltaic (DPV) economy under different business models by taking three provinces to stand for typical resource zones. The Internal return rate (IRR) is used to measure the economy, while the improved levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) is used to model the generation cost. This dissertation investigates three profit maximization models for coordinating Sales and Operations (S\&OP) management.

The first problem considers implementing a customer education strategy for the digital channel users of a multi-channel service provider. Using a customer network flow model, I investigate the effect of customer education in the digital channel on the number of users of digital and in-person channels. Further, I define a customer value metric that characterizes the optimal level of education effort. Finally, I determine conditions under which the effect of positive word-of-mouth regarding the quality of education dominates the lifetime value of customers.

For fixed wing aircraft within the U.S. Air Force, Operating and Support (O&S) costs encompass a large portion of total life cycle costs. O&S costs include fuel, maintenance, and engine upgrades. To the authors’ knowledge, no study to date has attempted to empirically quantify the realized effects of new aircraft engines on sustainment costs. Utilizing the Air Force Total Ownership Cost database, they focused on new engines appearing on the C-5s, C-130s, and C-135s. This paper explores the U.S. Army’s force reorganization around the Brigade Combat Team (BCT), which began in 2002. The BCT shifted how various army units interacted by changing the echelon at which different types of units report to a single commander, essentially creating self-sufficient units of about 2,500 soldiers instead of the previous self-sufficient units of about 15,000 soldiers. This study proposes a systematical approach to evaluate the operational capability of container terminals and discusses the effect of resource usages on operational performances. Two inter-dependent processes (i.e. the loading-discharging (L&D) and the delivery-receiving (D&R) operational processes) with shared/non-shared resources and common/separate productions are examined and characterized as a two-stage parallel network. An evaluation model is developed upon the principles of data envelopment analysis (DEA) to assess the operational capability of the terminals. This study investigates the operations of a healthcare alliance, where two types of independent hospitals [general hospitals (GHs) and community healthcare centers (CHCs)] collaborate in capacity allocation and revenue management to improve efficiency and revenue. Specifically, the GH allocates part of its capacity to establish a dedicated green channel for referral patients from the CHC based on a negotiated revenue sharing scheme.
