يمتلك البنك المركزي العراقي الاحتياطيات الاجنبية الناجمة عن شراء الدولار من وزارة المالية وتزويدها بالدينار العراقي لإنفاقه على بنود الموازنة العامة، اذ ان معظم واردات وزارة المالية هي بالعملة الاجنبية ومعظم نفقاتها بالدينار العراقي، فتقوم وزارة المالية بيع الدولار الى البنك المركزي، الذي يتولى اعادة بيعه الى القطاع الخاص للحصول على الدينار، اذ يغطي القطاع الخاص استيراداته بالدولار المشترى، فضلاً عن تغطية الطلبات الاخرى، فعندما يكون الطلب على الدولار اقل مما يحصل عليه البنك المركزي يذهب الفائض الى احتياطي العملة الاجنبية، وعندما يكون الطلب على الدولار اكبر من المورد الاجنبي المتاح يستخدم احتياطي العملة الاجنبية لتغطية العجز، لذلك يزداد الاحتياطي …

Purpose — Forecasting techniques improve supply chain resilience by ensuring that the correct parts are available when required. In addition, accurate forecasts conserve precious resources and money by avoiding new start contracts to produce unforeseen part requests, reducing labor intensive cannibalization actions and ensuring consistent transportation modality streams where changes incur cost. This study explores the effectiveness of the United States Air Force’s current flying hour-based demand forecast by comparing it with a sortie-based demand forecast to predict future spare part needs. The purpose of this paper is to explore the current business model of small fashion retailers and their green efforts in supply chain management based on the Six-R framework that consists of recycle, reuse, reduce, re-design, recovery, and remanufacture. This study also investigated the impact of COVID-19 on small fashion businesses. Qualitative data were gathered through in-depth interviews of owners/employees of four small fashion retailers that addressed sustainable supply chain management, customer segments, and challenges and barriers in green supply chain management, and the effects of COVID-19. Background: In response to calls for actionable research that considers ongoing pandemic risk dynamics, we explore how risks experienced and risk mitigation techniques used have changed during the first year of the pandemic. Methods: We used a survey and studied six cases; data were collected both at the start of the pandemic and one year into the pandemic.
