Emergence And Constraints Of Enterprise Platform Silos For Online Interactions: A Case Study From Ghana Before And During Covid-19, John Effah
The African Journal of Information Systems
The purpose of this study is to understand the emergence and constraints of enterprise platform silos for online interactions at the organizational level. Information systems (IS) research has focused more on external platforms without silos. As a result, not much is known about internal platforms and silos at the organizational level and how they constrain online interactions, especially in the developing economic context of Africa. This study follows an interpretive, qualitative case study methodology and the encounter-episode process model to investigate the case of using enterprise platform silos in an organization in Ghana, before and during Covid-19. Higher Education Business And Technology Leaders’ Behaviors That Drive Outcome Alignment, Katherine Lynch-Holmes
Dissertations
Higher education institutions (HEIs) face unprecedented challenges, including capacity alignment, financial sustainability, and even public confidence (Grajeck & Brooks, 2020; Grawe, 2019; Oblinger, 2019; Simone, 2020, Wheeler, 2020, Witt & Coyne, 2019). Financial challenges force HEIs to reduce costs by making decisions like cutting programs, laying off staff or merging institutions to reduce operating costs (Chen et al., 2019; Sellingo, 2017; Witt & Coyne, 2019). Higher education leaders (HELs) must act as trusted partners and broker technology to align processes, support, and outcomes (Luftman 2000; Petkovics, 2018; Reinitz, 2019). Unfortunately, higher education’s business-technology (BITA) alignment remains lower than other national …

Thesis topics include nonlinear and complicated interactions between inputs and outputs, as well as making inferences, discovering hidden links, patterns, and predictions, and modeling highly volatile data and variations to forecast uncommon events. Neural networks have the potential to help people make better decisions. NLP is a technique for analyzing, interpreting, and comprehending large amounts of text. We can no longer evaluate the text using traditional approaches due to the massive volumes of text data …

Identifying stakeholders, identifying metrics, and analyzing specific aspects of agile development. This has led to a variety of questions around scope management such as "How do scope changes impact the velocity throughout the course of a project?", "What factors help determine the overall viability of adopting different scope measures?", and "What are the roles of project owners and managers in facilitating scope changes in project cycles?" This research encompasses a review of previous literature, an analysis of structured project progression, and semi-structured interviews in order to investigate the evolution of scope management and needs identification in agile methodologies.
