Community acquired Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA) infection, a flesh-eating superbug, is an emerging threat to every part of the world. It can cause pneumonia, skin infections, and sepsis. CA-MRSA is potentially fatal. Its incidence in the Philippines is not yet known. In this university, undergraduate students of B.S. Medical Technology curriculum at third year level are being taught of the significance and possible adverse effects of bacteria in the community.
