การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหา รูปแบบ ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเกิดปรากฏการณ์ล้มทั้งยืน (Rug Pull) ซึ่งเป็นอาชญากรรมบนเทคโนโลยีการเงินแบบกระจายศูนย์ (DeFi) เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจให้แก่สังคมและนำไปสู่การแสวงหาแนวทางป้องกันที่เหมาะสม ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ด้วยการบูรณาการการวิจัยเชิงเอกสาร การสังเกตแบบชาติพันธุ์วรรณาดิจิทัลและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญของหน่วยงานรัฐ หน่วยธุรกิจและตัวแทนนักลงทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล จำนวน 16 ราย ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ปรากฎการณ์ล้มทั้งยืน (Rug Pull) เป็นอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ที่อาศัยความน่าเชื่อถือและความปลอดภัยของ DeFi เจตนาหลอกลวงให้นักลงทุนนำสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลมาฝากในแพลตฟอร์ม จากนั้นเกิดสถานการณ์ทำให้นักลงทุนสูญเสียเงินลงทุนบางส่วน หรือทั้งหมด หรืออาจจะไม่ได้รับผลตอบแทนตามที่กล่าวอ้าง ด้วยสภาพปัญหา 4 ด้าน คือ 1) ด้านโลกาภิวัตน์ ผู้ใช้งานสามารถทำธุรกรรมโดยไม่ระบุตัวตนของคู่สัญญาด้วยความรวดเร็วผ่านระบบนิเวศ DeFi การระบุพื้นที่ หรือเขตอำนาจศาลในการลงโทษผู้กระทำผิดจึงเป็นไปด้วยความยากลำบาก 2) ด้านสังคมความเสี่ยง เกิดขึ้นการจากนำเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ที่มีความซับซ้อน โดยมีสัญญาอัจฉริยะเป็นกลไกหลักในการควบคุมเงื่อนไขต่าง ๆ 3) ด้านกฎหมายและหลักเกณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ไม่มีตัวกลางในการกำกับดูแล ทำให้ขาดการตรวจสอบและประเมินความเสี่ยงจากภาครัฐ เมื่อมีความเสียหายเกิดขึ้นจากการฉ้อโกง หรือให้บริการที่ไม่เป็นธรรม จึงไม่ได้รับการคุ้มครอง และ 4) ด้านความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ ซึ่งขาดกระบวนการส่งต่อ หรือรับข้อมูลสำคัญที่จะนำมาใช้ในการติดตามตรวจสอบ สืบหาตัวผู้กระทำผิด ทั้งนี้ ปรากฏการณ์ล้มทั้งยืนสามารถเกิดขึ้นได้ 3 รูปแบบ คือ 1) การขโมยสภาพคล่อง 2) การจำกัดการซื้อขาย และ การลากและทุบ โดยมีปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเกิดปรากฎการณ์ล้มทั้งยืน 3 ปัจจัยหลัก คือ 1) เกิดจากผู้ที่มีความสามารถในการก่ออาชญากรรม 2) เกิดจากนักลงทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล และ 3) เกิดจากขาดผู้พิทักษ์ที่มีความสามารถ ทั้งนี้ แนวทางการป้องกัน ได้แก่ การพัฒนาการกำกับดูแลและการบังคับใช้กฎหมายที่เกี่ยวกับสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลบน DeFi ที่เป็นสากลและชัดเจน การสร้างเครือข่ายเพื่อเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้และสร้างความตระหนักเกี่ยวกับความเสี่ยงในการลงทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลบน DeFi การส่งเสริมให้มีการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาเครื่องมือ หรือกลไกการป้องกันฯ ให้มีประสิทธิภาพ การออกมาตรการกำกับดูแลผู้ให้บริการตรวจสอบสัญญาอัจฉริยะ (Smart Contract Security Audit) สำหรับแพลตฟอร์ม DeFi และการสร้างกรอบความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศกับหน่วยงานบังคับใช้กฎหมายและผู้ให้บริการสินทรัพย์เสมือน (VASP) เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้ประชาชนตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมไซเบอร์รูปแบบใหม่ ซึ่งจะสามารถลดช่องโอกาสของการเกิดปรากฎการณ์ล้มทั้งยืน (Rug …

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหาการปฏิบัติงานด้านติดตามคนหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนามและวิเคราะห์แนวทางปฏิบัติงานด้านการติดตามกรณีคนหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนามในประเทศไทย และพัฒนาแนวทางปฏิบัติงานด้านการติดตามกรณีคนหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนามในประเทศไทย โดยใช้การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้านวิธีการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 11 คน ประกอบด้วย กลุ่มบริหารงานยุติธรรม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 4 คน ได้แก่ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ จำนวน 1 คน ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิกรมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษด้านการสืบสวนสอบสวน จำนวน 1 คน และ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากสถาบันนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ กองคนหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนาม กลุ่มบริหารจัดการวัตถุพยาน จำนวน 2 คน กลุ่มนักวิชาการ จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 2 คน ได้แก่ นักวิจัย/นักวิชาการด้านการสืบสวนสอบสวนการรวบรวมพยานหลักฐาน และกลุ่มภาคประชาสังคม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 5 คน ได้แก่ ตัวแทนจากภาคประชาชน จำนวน 3 คน ตัวแทนจากสื่อมวลชน จำนวน 1 คน และตัวแทนจากองค์กรพัฒนาภาคเอกชน ได้แก่ มูลนิธิกระจกเงา จำนวน 1 คน จากผลการศึกษาสภาพปัญหากรณีบุคคลสูญหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนามในประเทศไทย ประกอบด้วย 8 ด้าน ดังนี้ 1 ด้านกฎหมาย 2) การสอบสวน 3) การสืบสวน 4) การเข้าถึงกระบวนการยุดิธรรมของผู้เสียหาย 5) ด้านความเป็นอาชญากรรม 6) ด้านการเข้าถึงกระบวนการยุติธรรมของผู้เสียหาย 7) ด้านการสืบค้นข้อมูลผู้สูญหายและศพนิรนาม และ 8) ด้านความหลากหลายของรูปแบบและพฤติการณ์ของคนหายและพิสูจน์ศพนิรนาม ทั้งนี้แนวทางการแก้ไขควรมีการจัดตั้งศูนย์รับแจ้งที่มีอำนาจหน้าที่ตามกฎหมายอย่างแท้จริงเพื่อให้เกิดความสะดวกรวดเร็วในการทำงาน ดำเนินการรับแจ้งคนหาย และกำหนดแนวทางการปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ให้ไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน และเป็นประโยชน์สูงสุดในการอำนวยความยุติธรรมแก่ประชาชน

This study compared empathy among police officers undergoing mental health crisis de-escalation training in virtual reality and live action training modalities. The study included police officers across different police services in Ontario (N=63) and evaluated the efficacy of the Mental Health Crisis Response Training (MHCRT, Lavoie et al., 2020) program delivered across virtual reality and live action modalities against a control group that did not receive the training program. After collection of participants’ demographics, empathy scores, and de-escalation competency scores, a series of correlations, ANOVAs and ANCOVAs were conducted. Registered sex offenders (RSOs) experience extreme stigmatization and monitoring even after they are released from incarceration. This is due, in part, to sex offender registries which perpetuate high levels of stigma and can contribute to false narratives about reoffending, victimization, and the homogeneity of sex offenders. As a result of societal level stigma, RSOs often struggle to locate and maintain employment, secure suitable housing, and establish positive, prosocial relationships. This current study utilized a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with eight RSOs to explore how offenders experience and navigate this stigma during reentry. As artificial intelligence (AI) evolves, social issues associated with this technology are also perpetuated. This is especially pertinent to online violence against women. In April 2016, fictional character “Lil Miquela,” an AI robot who would quickly rise to fame as a social media influencer, was created using Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI). Significant backlash has persisted against Lil Miquela throughout its existence, which has typically taken the form of demeaning comments made by other users on Lil Miquela’s social media pages. This paper contributes to the growing body of scholarship related to the impact of imprisonment on families, from the particular perspective of parents, siblings and other close relatives of people serving a life sentence. We argue that those family members are often overlooked in research and service provision, while bearing the burden of the association with the offender. This is particularly problematic for relatives of life sentenced prisoners, having to cope with the seriousness of the offence, and the uncertainty of the perspectives of release. The Justice Facility Dog Pilot Program (JFDPP) was introduced to Perth Children's Court, Western Australia in September 2021 to improve the wellbeing of victims, witnesses and other Court users attending the Court for criminal or child protection matters.
As requested by the Office for the Commissioner of Victims of Crime, the program was evaluated by independent researchers from Edith Cowan University. The project was funded by ECU and Partial funding was sought and granted by the Western Australian Office of Crime Statistics and Research Criminal Justice Grant scheme to facilitate the evaluation (See Appendix J).

Why do cross-denominational public religious movements such as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference appear, despite the market-like competitive behavior of churches? Religious economy theory offers one set of explanations, based on a supply-side approach to the dynamics of numeric religious growth and decline. Namely, ecumenical movements are engaged by denominations, or religious firms, in membership decline. The history of national Black ecumenical movements, however, points to ways that religious economic theorizing fails to account for the multiple modes of social consciousness regarding church survival that motivate institutional religious activity. "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) postulates that jurisdictions can deter crime and antisocial behavior via effective use and proper design of the physical environment. When a jurisdiction implements a CPTED strategy, it makes involvement in criminal behavior more difficult, thereby increasing the chance of being caught. Using interviews with 35 active juvenile street taggers from a large metropolitan area in Texas, this research explores whether implementing CPTED strategies deter offenders from engaging in criminal activity. Results suggest physical barriers, natural surveillance, access, and signage serve as deterrents during the target selection process."
