The misconception that persons with disabilities are asexual and sexually inactive often relegates teaching sexuality education in special needs schools to a priority of low importance. The access, or lack thereof, to such information causes students lvith disabilities to be at an increased risk of HIV infection; therefore, providing them with sexuality education is imperative. The purpose of the present study was to examine the teachers' and childcare providers' views of teaching sexuality, HIV, and AIDS programs in special needs schools. Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders Undergraduate Honors Theses
The purpose of this study is to examine how family members, who have a child with autism, perceive problematic behaviors in relation to everyday activities. Parents, who have a child diagnosed with autism, were sought through social media for participation in this study. The material required for this project consisted of a parent survey created on SurveyMonkey. The link was shared online so that families who would like to participate could access the survey. Analysis will include a comparison of the themes and concerns expressed by the parents in their responses.

Theses
A review of the literature identified a theme of ambiguity regarding the phenomenon of volunteerism, regarding the definition, academic perspectives and volunteer’s motives. The review also identified the Volunteer Process Model (VPM, Omoto and Snyder, 1995) and the researcher utilised this model when designing the mixed methods questionnaire to evaluate the motivations, satisfaction and attitudes towards disability of Hope’s international volunteers, both current (n=13) and previous (n=85), and also the impact the volunteer programme has on the volunteer’s careers.
