Abstract: According to the structure of the mainstream modern airborne radar warning receiver, a modeling method of radar warning receiver simulation system was proposed, and it realized by SystemVue. The system consists of radar signal interception, parameter estimation and signal sorting, and pulse description words can be obtained at last. The application of sorting method based on detection of single source point in the system improves the robustness. Simulation results verify the scheme feasibility.

Abstract: There are many uncertain events in the actual production process of flexible job shop, which affect the normal production and scheduling to achieve objective. According to the factor of the machine breakdown, two robustness measures combined with flexible job shop scheduling characteristics were proposed. Abstract: D/A conversion network of SAR (SAR: Successive Approximation Register) ADC was discussed. The energy model of the capacitor array in R-C hybrid D/A network was established by using MATLAB. With the combination of resistor string’s static power and capacitor array’s switching power, the power model of the R-C hybrid network in SAR ADC was proposed based on a 65nm CMOS process. Abstract: A three-dimensional multi-flow channel proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) model has been developed to investigate the deformation of gas diffusion layer (GDL) with different assembly force and different contact ratio of channel. The results indicate that the GDL under the land part changes significantly while the central region under the flow channel almost has no deformation with increasing assembly force. In particle simulations of semiconductor devices for electro-static discharge (ESD) study at the microscopic level, solving Poisson's equation is an inevitable but time-consuming step. In this work, a deep learning technique is utilized to resolve Poisson's equation for a PN junction under an ESD event, namely using a trained deep neural network (DNN) to predict the potential distribution according to the charge distribution and the boundary condition under a transient ESD excitation. Current methods of production forecasting such as decline curve analysis (DCA) or numerical simulation require years of historical production data, and their accuracy is limited by the choice of model parameters. Unconventional resources have proven challenging to apply traditional methods of production forecasting because they lack long production histories and have extremely variable model parameters. This research proposes a data-driven alternative to reservoir simulation and production forecasting techniques. The design project reported in this paper examined female pilots’ experiences with how well or poorly cockpit design allowed them to safely accomplish their flying missions. The general aviation aircraft cockpit is not designed for female pilots, often causing them to find ways to adapt to the cockpit in order to operate the aircraft safely. Two primary focal areas for adaptations address issues with accessibility of controls and “viewability” inside and outside the cockpit. The design team used a Situation Awareness-Oriented Interface Design (SAOD) approach in preparing cockpit design recommendations for general aviation aircraft that would accommodate female pilots.

In this work, we explore the thermal properties of gallium as an effective phase change material for thermal management applications. Thermal storage and dissipation of gallium manufactured heat sinks were compared to conventional phase change heat sinks. The comparison revealed a 50-fold (80 K versus 1.5 K) potential reduction in temperature during the phase change process due to the high density, thermal conductivity, and latent heat of fusion. The gallium creates shallow thermal gradients when transiently heated, producing a nearly isothermal process. Sampling plans are statistical process control (SPC) tools used mainly in production processes. They are employed to control processes by monitoring the quality of produced products and alerting for necessary adjustments or maintenance. Sampling is used when an undesirable change (shift) in a process is unobservable and needs time to discover. Basically, the shift occurs when an assignable cause affects the process. Wrong setups, defective raw materials, degraded components are examples of assignable causes. This work develops new methodologies for analyzing accelerated testing data in the context of a reliability growth program for a complex multi-component system. Each component has multiple failure modes and the growth program consists of multiple test-fix stages with corrective actions applied at the end of each stage. The first group of methods considers time-to-failure data and test covariates for predicting the final reliability of the system. Abstract: Complex coordination exists among the various equipment in the system-of-system (SoS) operational process. The influence relationship among the various indexes is ignored in the traditional effectiveness evaluation methods. Aiming at this, a new effectiveness evaluation approach for the SoS is proposed. Numerous evaluation data is analyzed, based on the association rules mining, to obtain the influence among the effectiveness indexes. The networked evaluation index system is constructed, and the effectiveness integration evaluation is realized based on the analytic network process. The feasibility and validity of the proposed method are verified by evaluating the effectiveness of an air defense SoS.

Abstract: To study the avoidance behavior in the evacuation process, a cellular automaton model considering avoidance behavior is established. The model divides the evacuees into avoiders and transferees, and reflects the avoidance behavior by changing the selected probability of evacuees. The impact of the avoidance behavior on the efficiency and evacuation process in different personnel ratios and different initial positions is analyzed. A method based on the multi-scale local sparse representation and local contrast measure is proposed to compute the spatial saliency in the infrared videos. A multi-frame symmetric difference approach is adopted to detect the temporal saliency. To get the initial spatiotemporal saliency map, a scheme based on the mutual-consistency is designed to fuse the spatial and temporal saliency maps adaptively. A Gestalt-guided optimization method is designed to calculate the final spatiotemporal saliency map. Abstract: A discrete krill herd algorithm (DKH) is proposed to solve the no-wait flow shop scheduling problem (NWFSP) with the makespan criterion.
