Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly transformed industries and daily life, but beneath its advancements lies a growing environmental concern. This paper explores the often-overlooked ecological footprint of AI technologies, focusing on real-world data and tangible impacts. Notably, training OpenAI’s GPT-3 model alone consumed approximately 1,287 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity—equivalent to the annual consumption of over 120 U.S. homes—and emitted 500 metric tons of CO₂, comparable to driving 112 gasoline-powered cars for a year.

Networked microgrids (NMG) are gaining popularity as an example of smartgrids (SG), where power networks are integrated with communication technologies. Communication technologies enable NMGs to be monitored and controlled via communication networks. However, ensuring that communication networks in NMGs satisfy quality of delivery (QoD) metrics such as the round trip time (RTT) of NMG control data is necessary. This paper addresses the communication network types and communication technologies used in NMGs. We present various NMG deployments to demonstrate real-life applicability in different contexts. Count data modeling requires usage of the Poisson regression model as a primary analytic method. Excess dispersion in variables makes the model unfit to use when the Poisson distribution mean value differs from its variance value. Data fits well with the results obtained by using the Bell regression model. Excess zeros occur frequently in the observed count data records. Arabic script is exhibited in a cursive style, which is a departure from the norm in many common languages, and the shapes of letters are contingent on their positions within words. The form of the first letter is influenced by the subsequent letter, middle letters are shaped by both preceding and succeeding letters, and the shape of the final letter is determined by the preceding letter. The Ebbinghaus illusion, also know as Titchner Circles, is a perceptual illusion that is typically presented as a two-dimensional set of disks. These disks are configured as a central disk surrounded by an annulus of smaller or larger disks. Numerous studies have found the illusion to have an effect on size perception, but fewer studies have analyzed its effects on depth judgments. Organizations and industries increasingly rely on distributed services in decentralized environments—ranging from large-scale, system-of-system architectures to fine-grained, agent-based microservices. While this distributed paradigm offers flexibility and innovation, it presents critical challenges such as interoperability gaps, inconsistent data formats, and a lack of holistic oversight.
