It was the purpose of this study to compare performance of Air Force athletes participating in eleven different sports as measured by the United States Air Force Physical Fitness Rating Tests to determine which sport or sports contributed the greatest amount of fitness and to rank each of the sports on the basis of the test results.

It is the purpose of this study to identify certain attitudes of the administrators of the public schools in the state of New Mexico. It is the further purpose of this study to determine the incidence of particular attitudes.

Hypothesis: The administrators of the state schools hold certain adverse opinions about physical education.

An attempt to measure an attitude is an attempt to measure an intangible. THe use of the questionnaire method of determining attitudes is limited by the response a person can give.

This study is limited to the public school administrators of the state of New Mexico.

The present material that would be acceptable in the high school physical education class required a study of the various types of dances from Hawaii. There appeared to be two main classifications of dance forms: the modern and ancient. In the modern form, hip, torso, simple and intricate step patterns, as well as hand and arm motions, are used to convey the meaning and rhythm of the music . This study was conducted to find out if Paradise Valley School of Nursing is meeting certain specified objectives and to gather information which could help in future curriculum planning to better meet the needs of the students.

The normative-survey was the method used to gather data from graduates of the 1950-1957 classes. This group comprised those graduating from the three-year diploma program. A questionnaire was mailed to 149 graduates of which 124 responded.

The pole vault is an event performed in track and field athletics wherein the athlete, with the aid of a pole 14 and 15 feet in length, attempts to clear a crossbar resting on two pegs supported by two standards. The standards, or uprights, are placed not less than 12 feet nor more than 13 feet apart. The vaulter cushions his fall in a pit filled with shavings.
