This study explores the integration of entrepreneurial education within early childhood settings in Ireland, focusing on embedding entrepreneurial capabilities at the foundational stages of education. Recognising the critical role that early experiences play in lifelong learning, this research advocates for equipping preschool children with essential 21st-century skills, such as independence, creativity and problem-solving. Despite significant investment in early childhood education, the integration of entrepreneurial education remains limited within existing pedagogical frameworks, which prioritise social, emotional, and cognitive skills without explicitly addressing entrepreneurial capabilities. Sensory processing difficulties are traditionally associated with children with autism; however, typically developing children are increasingly demonstrating symptoms of SPD. Research has shown that targeted sensory development, based on Ayres Sensory Integration Theory, demonstrates positive results for children with autism. This study sought to determine if comparable results can be shown with typically developing students to address the increase in SPD concerns in the classroom. Based on a literature review and targeted research on Ayres Sensory Integration Theory, an intervention consisting of nine sense-targeted exercises was implemented with 100 kindergarteners over 6 weeks. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a multifaceted developmental condition that manifests in early childhood, affecting various aspects of neurologic, biological, adaptive, social, linguistic, and cognitive functions. The purpose of the qualitative descriptive study was to explore teacher perceptions of attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs as it pertained to home visits. The body of research available prior to the study focused on parent appreciation and takeaways from home visit experiences and/or students’ achievement as it pertained to having experienced a teacher coming into their home environments. Specifically, the researcher wanted to understand how K-5 teachers perceived their attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs prior to conducting home visits, during home visits and after the home visits were completed.

We will do this through a secondary literature review including grouping services into the tiers in Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยเชิงทดลองครั้งนี้ คือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนากระบวนการสอนภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาที่สองตามแนวคิดการสอนแบบมุ่งปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับการสอนแบบตอบสนองด้วยท่าทางเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการสื่อสารของเด็กอนุบาลกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาผลการใช้กระบวนการสอนภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาที่สองตามแนวคิดการสอนแบบมุ่งปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับ การสอนแบบตอบสนองด้วยท่าทางส่งเสริมความสามารถในการสื่อสารของเด็กอนุบาลกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ตัวอย่างคือ เด็กอนุบาลกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่ใช้ภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาที่สอง ในระดับชั้นอนุบาลปีที่ 2 ภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2567 ในโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เขต 1 จำนวน 50 คน โดยแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง จำนวน 25 คน และกลุ่มควบคุม จำนวน 25 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบวัดความสามารถในการสื่อสารของเด็กอนุบาลกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ระยะเวลาในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล 16 สัปดาห์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซ้ำ การหาค่าที และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาผลการวิจัยพบว่า1. กระบวนการสอนภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาที่สองฯ ประกอบด้วย 5 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ (1) หลักการ (2) วัตถุประสงค์ (3) เนื้อหา (4) ขั้นตอน และ (5) การประเมินผล โดยมี 4 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ (1) ขั้นดึงประสบการณ์ (2) ขั้นทดลองทำกิจกรรม (3) ขั้นเสริมต่อความรู้ทางภาษา และ (4) ขั้นทบทวนเสริมความมั่นใจ 2. หลังการทดลอง กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนการสื่อสารสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง ระหว่างการทดลอง และหลังการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยก่อนการทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนเท่ากับ 8.44 ระหว่างการทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนเท่ากับ 12.12 และหลังการทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนเท่ากับ 17.003. หลังการทดลอง ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนการสื่อสารทั้ง 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ การแสดงท่าทางเพื่อสื่อความหมาย การสนทนาโต้ตอบเพื่อสื่อความคิดความรู้สึก และการขีดเขียน ของกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่าค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนทั้ง 3 ด้าน ของกลุ่มควบคุม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

This resource describes a project where eight Western Australian Independent Schools engaged in critical reflection using a growth mindset. Partnerships between early childhood teachers/leaders, schools and the university were enhanced through a community of practice to share information, critically reflect, problem solve and create new knowledge. Participating schools explored emerging issues and changing policy directions in the new Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 (Australian Government Department of Education [AGDE], 2022) to design, deliver and evaluate quality learning and teaching practices for children through critical reflection.
