Study On Diffraction Effects Of Planar Underwater Shock Interaction With Rigid Quadrilateral Structure, Yuchun Li, Zhenru Gao, Bin Feng, Liu Qiang, Shen Wei
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Finite element simulation using LS-DYNA was performed to investigate the interaction of underwater planar shock wave and rigid quadrilateral structure. The characteristics of diffraction waves on both front and back surface of the rigid structure were analyzed and trace lines were gained. Vortex was formed near the corner of the structure diffracted by underwater shock with a void part of zero pressure existing in the local fluid region. Bulk cavitation near fluid-structure interface leads fluid pressure to drop to negative value, which is an important damage factor to merged structures. A derived pressure formulas of diffraction wave to rigid …

The neural network models of the pump characteristic and pump comprehensive model were separately trained and checked using the detected data. Its results suggest that reasonably choosing the number of …

Framework And Methodology For Logistics Simulation Based On Fidelity Theory, Yukun Liu, Fu Yu, Mengrui Shan
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: The quality issue of simulation was studied from the perspective of fidelity. The basic concepts and dimension structures of simulation fidelity and simulation utility were defined according to the features of discrete event logistics system (DELS) simulation after a relationship analysis between fidelity and problems in DELS simulation. A fidelity-based four-stage lifecycle framework with prescriptive contents for each stage was constructed to improve the quality of simulation implementation. A simulation fidelity management process model (FMPM) was built to ensure three processes: pre-control of fidelity design, in-process fidelity management, and afterward fidelity evaluation. Operable methods and tools such …

Novel Access Control And Interference Alignment Based Mimo Link Scheduling Algorithm, Zui Xiong, Keren Wang, Jin Hu, Xu Yun
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Interference alignment (IA) attracts global attention for its capability of improving the throughput of MIMO systems. To ensure the system stability, researchers proposed access control and IA combined in link scheduling. In order to compensate for the deficiency of minimum interference leakage IA (MinL-IA) algorithm in terms of the expected signal gain, an alternative IA algorithm named MaxSINR-IA combined with access control was applied, and a novel semi-distributed scheduling algorithm(SDSIA-MaxSINR) algorithm was proposed. The theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that SDSIA-MaxSINR algorithm is evidently superior to SDSIA-MinL algorithm in a higher SINR requirement, although MaxSINR-IA is inferior to …
Using Optimization Methods For Solving Problems In Sustainable Urban Mobility And Conservation Planning, Zulqarnain Haider
Using Optimization Methods For Solving Problems In Sustainable Urban Mobility And Conservation Planning, Zulqarnain Haider
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
This dissertation considers three separate optimization problems related to sustainable urban and environmental systems. The first problem relates to the nightly relocation and recharging operations for Free-floating electric vehicle sharing (FFEVS) systems. Such operations involve a crew of drivers to move the shared electric vehicles (EVs), and a fleet of shuttles to transport those drivers. Mixed integer programs are used to model the relocation and recharging operations. Two approaches are devised: sequential and synchronized approaches. In the sequential approach, the movement of EVs is first decided, then the routing of shuttles and drivers is determined. In the synchronized approach, all …
