By conducting this study, the researchers filled a gap in the literature by determining whether the use of the Open Up Resources mathematics curriculum, race, and biological sex predicted students' attitudes toward mathematics. This qualitative study explored the individual lived experiences of mental health counselors undergoing clinical supervision, focusing on their perceptions of the supervisory relationship, supervisory process, and outcomes by identifying specific traits and behaviors across various domains. In-depth, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the sample of 20 participants across professional developmental stages and practice settings. Narrative and thematic analysis of the data revealed a nuanced portrayal of the supervisory relationship. Overall, participants characterized their supervision experiences as being predominantly positive and growth-facilitating. This dissertation investigates whether the Epistle of James presents a fundamentally different gospel from Pauline theology, a claim advanced by Robert Eisenman and other scholars who portray James as the leader of a rigorist, non-resurrectional, sectarian movement. The study employs a forensic investigative model shaped by the researcher’s experience as a police officer, combining historical-grammatical exegesis of James with analysis of key New Testament texts, early Christian witnesses such as Eusebius and Hegesippus, and modern scholarship on James, Paul, and the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Death is a friend of ours said Francis Bacon, and Hargarten stated that death has an inevitable arrival. This research aimed to explore the depictions and messages of death in Disney and Pixar films. The qualitative content analysis research methodology coded 267 deaths in Disney films (1937–2003) and Disney and Pixar Films (2003–2024). The study centers on replicating the scholarship of three prior works, while extending the research by incorporating more recent films into the analysis. The purpose of this phenomenological study is to describe the help-seeking behaviors of African American clergy along the East Coast of the United States in response to marital distress. The theory guiding this study is social constructivism, which was developed in the 1930s by Russian Social Scientist Lev Vygotsky. Officer suicide remains an underrecognized occupational hazard despite increasing awareness of mental health risks within law enforcement. This quantitative, cross-sectional pilot study examined public perceptions of officer suicide compared to line-of-duty deaths caused by violence or accidents and assessed whether mental health literacy and suicide stigma influenced these perceptions. Grounded in framing theory, stigma theory, the health belief model, and the interpersonal theory of suicide, the study explored how knowledge and attitudes shape legitimacy judgments. The purpose of this study was to (a) ascertain the effect mentor text had on student engagement and (b) determine the impact mentor text had on student writing style. Students utilized strategies from five mentor texts during the writer's workshop to write their own personal narratives. Students demonstrated increased engagement through class discussions following each read aloud. Writing style was impacted as students implemented different writing elements into their own writing based on the mentor text discussed. Implications for teaching writing are discussed.

Case Presentation: 70-year-old male presented with one week of fever and a painful right lower extremity purpuric rash that rapidly evolved into fullthickness desquamation and necrosis. Concurrent multiorgan dysfunction: respiratory failure, renal failure with nephritic proteinuria, and severe thrombocytopenia refractory to high dose steroids. Extensive serologic workup for viral, autoimmune, vascular, and hematologic etiologies were pan-negative, including serum cryoglobulins twice repeated (QR code for table of workup). A PET scan for a broad evaluation found a hypermetabolic right inguinal lymph node. Discussion: Unique features of this case: His hematologic workup was convincingly negative in setting of having type 1 CryoGN. …

Background: The bullying of new graduate nurses is often considered a rite of passage in the nursing profession.¹ Bullying within nursing has led to poor professional development, reduced self-confidence, and has the potential to negatively impact patient outcomes; with links to increased medication errors, falls, and hospital costs.^1,9 Within a comprehensive cancer center, high rates of nurse bullying have been reported.
