A group with expertise in many aspects of housing and property taxes was convened in response. Cognitive stress arises from sustained mental demand, information overload, or task complexity, and requires continuous monitoring for timely detection and intervention in real-world settings. It produces subtle physiological changes, including shifts in heart rate and autonomic activity that require continuous monitoring to detect reliably. Wearable sensors such as photoplethysmography (PPG) and electrodermal activity (EDA) enable non-invasive tracking of these responses. However, multi-modal sensor integration remains challenging, as hardware or software-level synchronization does not consider the physiological response delays. Using vibroacoustic signals to characterize the health and status of industrial equipment is well-used. Many recent studies leverage a black box approach for developing a vibroacoustic machine learning (ML) architecture capable of identifying anomalous behaviors in the robot operation. While useful for routine automation systems, it is not suitable for dynamic robot systems with flexible or behavioral programming, or robots that will experience consistently changing environmental factors. To address these shortcomings, a discretized approach is explored. Assessing Impact: Ratio Studies Using Demographic Data, Josh Myers

Ratio Studies usually focus on measuring equity using data known directly by a valuation agency during the valuation process, such as location, quality, and building size. However, in assessing the human impact of the valuation process, it can also be helpful to measure equity using demographic data that was not directly included in the valuation process. This presentation does exactly that using data from Mecklenburg County, NC and GIS data derived from the US Census Bureau’s 2020 American Community Survey.

Ratio studies are an essential tool for evaluating the fairness and uniformity of assessments, but performing them thoroughly can be time consuming and limited by traditional spreadsheet methods. This session explores how machine learning can be applied to ratio study data to identify inequities and patterns that may not be visible through simple statistics. Participants will see how machine learning such as SHAP and recursive partitioning methods can detect areas or submarkets where ratios diverge, suggesting potential issues with valuation or data quality. In the framework of reducing poverty, this study explores the numerous connections between economic, environmental, and agricultural aspects, paying particular attention to the moderating role of literacy. The Study aims to assess how agricultural employment, arable land, forest area, fertilizer usage, and ecological resources shape poverty outcomes in Asia. Utilizing panel data from 46 nations between 2000 to 2023, sourced from the World Development Indicators, the analysis applies advanced econometrics such as FMOLS and DOLS, alongside a panel co-integration framework validated through panel unit root and cointegration tests. Traumatic injuries present a significant health challenge for providers, often resulting in hypothermia, coagulopathy, and acidosis, referred to as the trauma triad of death. Hypothermia significantly impacts trauma patients' outcomes and exacerbates morbidity and mortality rates, particularly in trauma cases with high injury severity scores who require immediate surgical intervention. Despite the detrimental effects of hypothermia, evidence-based approaches to treating hypothermia in this population are lacking. Traditional warming methods heavily rely on provider preference and can lead to inconsistent care. The story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4 contains the first biblical account of one human killing another yet provides a markedly terse description of the murder itself. This suggests the author's primary concern was not the details of the killing, but the characters and events surrounding it. An analysis of early Jewish interpretations, Christian commentaries, and intra-biblical teachings reveals a common understanding that the author of Genesis 4 was predominantly focused on the character traits of Cain and the damage his heart of self-absorbed wickedness caused himself and those around him. The book Impact Networks by David Erlichman, published in 2021, provides a comprehensive picture of how impact networks are working throughout the world on complex issues. Such networks move beyond hierarchical structures that are based on authority. Organizations within networks share at least one purpose and define their success as network participants based on their impact on the network issue, not on agency growth.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding provides significant health benefits for infants and lactating individuals; however, national rates remain below Healthy People 2030 targets. Evidence suggests that infants supplemented with pasteurized human donor breast milk (HDBM) during postpartum hospitalization have higher exclusive breastfeeding rates at discharge and at six months. At a suburban Maryland hospital, formal HDBM education was not routinely provided, contributing to low utilization and stagnant breastfeeding rates.

Purpose: To determine whether implementing a structured HDBM education program for postpartum parents increases HDBM supplementation among breastfed infants and improves exclusive breastfeeding rates at discharge.

Herpetofauna surveys focused on Crayfish Frog, Spring Peeper, Eastern Tiger Salamander, Red-Bellied Snake, and Smooth Earth Snake were conducted concurrently with Bush Honeysuckle removal projects on the Fort Leavenworth Military Reservation.  Survey techniques included coverboard arrays, adaptive hunt drift fences, traditional pit fall traps and visual encounter surveys and were conducted between May and August in 2024 and 2025. The survey effort resulted in the detection of one of the target species, the Smooth Earth Snake. Based on our survey results we are confident that the Crayfish frog and Spring Peeper do not occur on Fort Leavenworth Military Reserve, but …

Open-source software (OSS), a form of distributed and collaborative software development rooted in the ethos of early computer science, has evolved into an essential component of modern digital infrastructure. This article asks whether open source will assume a similarly transformative role within the emerging technological paradigm of generative artificial intelligence (AI).

Generative AI differs fundamentally from software: its constituent artifacts, architectures, generative capacities, and deployment contexts are distinct and substantially more complex. This Article examines the limitations of intellectual property law in the United States for fashion designers and their creations. In doing so, it considers the impact generative artificial intelligence technologies have had on such protections. Despite fashion’s cultural and economic significance, U.S. law offers only fragmented protection through copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, and patents. Copyright law is significantly constrained by the useful article doctrine and the separability requirement articulated in Star Athletica v. Varsity Brands. Thus, copyrights only protect separable artistic elements rather than garments as a whole. Trademark and trade dress protections are typically only effective for well-established brands, …
