Background: Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) is a leading cause of mortality among people withepilepsy (PWE). Risk factors such as increased seizure frequency, drug-resistant epilepsy, and early epilepsy onsetare well recognised. The Egyptian-farmed soybeans have a wide range of genetic diversity which is most important in plant improvement programs in order to develop new higher yielding soybean genotypes. The present study is designed to determine the genetic variability among seventeen genotypes of cultivated soybean (Glycine max L.) by examining the phenotypic level at the seedling stage, field performance over two years 2022/2023 and genetically using Start Codon Targeted (SCoT) markers. Results indicated that the SCoT markers, 100 seed weight, and tip angle (TA) traits were positively correlated with H2L12, DR 101, H15L5, and H117 genotypes. In addition, the number of branches …

Existing research observes that fathers navigate the workplace through a complex network of mistreatment, adopting “ground breaker discourse” as a mechanism by which to maintain alignment with masculine norms to reduce mistreatment. Through analysis of online forum comments in response to a UK newspaper article exploring fathers and masculinity, this research investigates if “fatherhood forfeits” and the “patriarchal deficit” are evident in this context and how they are navigated. This position statement on undergraduate teaching on the use of magnification in endodontics represents the consensus of the British Endodontic Society Teachers of Endodontology Group. Current clinical and scientific evidence, as well as the expertise of the committee, has been used to develop this statement. The contributors to this position statement consider, as a minimum requirement, the use of dental loupes in non-surgical endodontics at undergraduate level. It is recommended that the use of dental loupes should be integrated into endodontic clinical skills training and the performance of endodontic treatment in the undergraduate curriculum.

This publication describes systems and techniques to adjust a local high brightness mode (LHBM) of a portion of a touch-screen display responsive to an on-pixel ratio (OPR) of the display. In some aspects, the display driver may determine a current OPR range of one or more OPR ranges that includes the display OPR and then alter the LHBM brightness by a predetermined adjustment factor associated with the current OPR range. Introduction: Lornoxicam (LRX), a member of the Oxicam class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), exhibits potent analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. Nevertheless, its effectiveness is hampered by high dosage requirements, a short half-life, and low and pH dependent water solubility, necessitating further research for enhanced therapeutic outcomes.

Methodology: This study introduces floating microsponges of LRX to enhance drug release duration and reduce dosing frequency. Prescription adherence is a major public health challenge, as non-adherence to medication instructions can lead to poorer health outcomes and higher healthcare costs. Although prescription adherence is crucial for managing patient compliance and health outcomes, adherence rates differ greatly between medication types. The main objectives of this study were to determine prescription adherence rates across six medication types (antibiotic, cardiac, chronic health, pediatric, and psychiatric) and identify sources of variation. Rates of anxiety among college students have increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic and have remained high (Elharake et al., 2023), placing students at risk for diminished academic performance, depression, and academic burnout (Rassaby et al., 2022). The goal of this study was to examine possible predictors of anxiety in a diverse group of undergraduate students post-pandemic, with the goal of informing future preventive intervention efforts. Maladaptive perfectionism, passive procrastination, active procrastination, cognitive flexibility, and social well-being were assessed as potential predictors of state and trait anxiety in a sample of 297 currently enrolled college students.
