Despite efforts worldwide to increase diversity, women continue to be underrepresented in the most senior leadership and management positions. The aim of this study was to provide insight into whether specific variables increased female representation at the most senior levels of the U.S. Foreign Service. A quantitative correlational study was completed using an autoregressive integrated moving average model in SPSS. Following that, time series forecasts were run in SPSS and AI generated in Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, to create a forecast for the female promotion rate in the Senior Foreign Service (the equivalent of the Senior Executive Service) within …

There has been a spike in overdoses in the United States resulting in approximately 100,306 deaths since the COVID-19 pandemic began with overdose results from men in opioid and fentanyl abuse with a shortage of resources for substance use disorders and mental health. Families across the U.S. have been affected with the social problem of substance abuse disorders for many years due to environmental and biological constructs due to loss of jobs, housing, limited childcare, and exposure to drugs and alcohol at an early age. Autism is occurring at an increasing incidence in the United States, and it does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status; therefore, the need for collaborative care across multiple support systems is increasing as well. There are few studies that described collaborative approaches across systems for individuals diagnosed with autism. The purpose of this generic qualitative study was to better understand how social workers and other support professionals use interprofessional collaboration when working with individuals diagnosed with autism. In a Midwestern nonprofit, predominantly White, Catholic university, the problem was low retention of African American students after completing a first-year seminar (FYS) course. The purpose of this instrumental case study was to explore perceptions and challenges of African American college students and faculty about the required FYS course. Using Tinto’s persistence theory, perceptions and challenges of students and faculty at the study site were explored. Data were collected using semistructured interviews with 10 African American students and a focus group with five faculty who taught the FYS course. المستخلص هدفُ الدِّراسة الحالية التَّعرُّفُ على "فاعليَّة برنامجٍ تدريبي مقترَح للمُعلِّمات لتنمية مُتطلَّبات تدريس التَّربية الجنسية لطلبتهم ذوي اضطراب طَيْف التَّوحُّد"، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدمت الباحثتان المنهجَ شِبهَ التَّجريبي؛ إذْ أَعدَّتا اختبارًا وبرنامجًا تدريبيًّا تكوَّن مِن سبعة مَحاورَ (هي: الإساءة الجنسية، وأجزاءُ الجِسم الخاصَّة، والسُّلوكُ الخاصُّ والعامُّ، والمساحةُ الشَّخصية، ومرحلةُ البلوغ، والنَّظافة الشَّخصية، ودعمُ العائلات) لتنمية مُتطلَّبات تدريس التَّربية الجنسية لطَلبتهم ذوي اضطراب طَيْف التَّوحُّد، وتكوَّن البرنامجُ من (14) جلسةً غيرَ تَزامُنية. وتَكوَّنت عيِّنةُ الدِّراسة الكُليَّة للاختبار مِن (39) مُعلِّمةً من مُعلِّمات الطَّلبة ذوي اضطراب طَيْف التَّوحُّد العاملين في المدارس والمراكز الحكومية والخاصَّة في منطقة مكَّةَ المكرَّمة، وقد اختِيرت (23) …

ملخص الدراسة هدف الدراسة: هَدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية استخدام تقنية الواقع المُعَزَّز في تنمية الاتجاه نحو مقرر العلوم لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة بمدينة مكة المكرمة. مجتمع الدراسة وعينتها: اشتمل مجتمع الدراسة على طلاب الصف الثاني متوسط في المدارس الحكومية للبنين بتعليم مدينة مكة المكرمة. وتمثّلت عينة الدراسة في طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط بمدرسة عويم بن ساعدة المتوسطة، والبالغ عددهم (60) طالبًا، منهم (30) طالبًا درسوا مقرر العلوم وفق تقنية الواقع المعزز، و(30) طالبًا درسوا مقرر العلوم بالطريقة التقليدية السائدة، وتم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية متعددة المراحل من مجتمع الدراسة الأصلي للعام الدراسي 1442-1443ه. منهج الدراسة: اتبعت الدراسة المنهج المسحي …

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تطوير برنامج إعداد معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية قبل الخدمة بمراحل التعليم العام السعودي في ضوء مدخل العلاقات البينية بالاستفادة من التجارب الدولية، والفحص المعمق لكيفية استفادة الجامعات السعودية من التجارب الدولية، وخصوصًا في الجامعات الأوروبية. وقدمت الدراسة تصوراً مقترحاً لتحديث وتطوير مقررات إعداد معلمي الدارسات الاجتماعية قبل الخدمة ضمن إطار البرامج البينية. واعتمد التصور المقترح بشكل أساس على أفضل الممارسات المستخلصة من برامج الجامعات الأوروبية. ويُعد هذا التصور المقترح خطوة إيجابية نحو دمج مقررات معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية قبل الخدمة في إطار بيني مع تخصصات أخرى في أقسام بكليات علمية أخرى عبر الاستفادة من التجارب الناجحة في الجامعات …

هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى العلاقة بين علم النفس الإيجابي وجودة الحياة، والكشف عن مدى إمكانية التنبوء بجودة الحياة من خلال علم النفس الإيجابي لدى طلبة ذوي الإعاقة في جامعة القصيم. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة باستخدام مقياس علم النفس الإيجابي الذي أعده ربيع، والدردير وبهنساوي (2019)، ومقياس جودة الحياة الذي قامت الباحثة بإعداده. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (80) طالباً وطالبةً من الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة: وجود مستوى متوسط لمستوى علم النفس الإيجابي على المقياس ككل. ووجود مستوى متوسط لمستوى جودة الحياة على المقياس ككل. كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة: - وعدم وجود علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين التفاؤل والتوقع …

هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على تصورات المعلمين وأولياء الأمور نحو الأبعاد الاجتماعية والاقتصادية الناتجة من خصخصة المدارس العربية في لوائي الشمال وحيفا، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات. وبعد التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، طُبقت على أفراد عينة الدراسة من معلمين وأولياء أمور، البالغ عددهم (304) معلمًا وَ (629) ولي امر في السنة الدراسية (2022-2021). تمّ الوصول إليهم بالطريقة العنقودية الطبقية العشوائية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الأبعاد الاجتماعيّة الناتجة من خصخصة المدارس العربيّة في لوائي الشمال وحيفا من وجهة نظر المعلمين وأولياء الأمور جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وبمتوسط حسابي (3.58). وإن مستوى الأبعاد الاقتصاديّة …
