This project investigates 6TiSCH (IPv6 over Time-Slotted Channel Hopping), a relatively recent IETF networking standard introduced in 2013 that combines deterministic TSCH scheduling, 6LoWPAN header compression, and RPL mesh routing to enable low-power, reliable, multi-hop wireless communication for IoT deployments. Despite its strong theoretical properties, 6TiSCH remains underexplored in practice, and real-world questions around configuration, scalability, power behavior, and end-to-end integration are not well documented. Our primary goal was to build and operate a working 6TiSCH network, characterize its performance through iterative testing, and understand what it takes to go from raw packet delivery to a complete data pipeline.

Oral fluid (OF) has been determined comparable to blood while being a more accurate specimen to reflect recent use than urine. OF roadside testing devices utilize the ease of access and toxicological information provided by OF. These devices are designed to be used as a roadside screening device that can detect the presence of drugs. In 2018, Alabama was the first state in America to implement a comprehensive state OF drug testing program for screening and laboratory testing. The science of firearm and tool mark identification is based on the premise that no two tools produce the same microscopic detail and the tool that made the marks can be distinguished from all others. Based on the AFTE Theory of Identification, firearms comparisons can be classified as Identification, Elimination, Inconclusive, or Unsuitable for examination, with inconclusive indicating insufficient individual characteristics to support identification or exclusion. Thirty-one U.S. states and the District of Columbia currently authorize pharmacists to prescribe hormonal contraception. Expansion of pharmacist scope of practice into areas such as contraceptive prescribing represents an extension beyond traditional baseline licensure authority. As a result, jurisdictions frequently require additional training to address competency, patient safety, and liability considerations. Because regulation of pharmacy practice occurs at the state level, training requirements vary across jurisdictions. State boards of pharmacy websites and publicly available regulatory materials were reviewed to identify training requirements for pharmacists authorized to prescribe hormonal contraception. Federal criminal forfeiture is a powerful tool meeting at the nexus of criminal law and property law. Courts justify its use based on its English common law history. After seizing and selling assets, the federal government doles out payments from its Assets Forfeiture Fund to cooperating law enforcement agencies through equitable sharing agreements that bind recipients to use funds for law enforcement purposes. Tribal Nations have compelling legal and policy arguments for their entitlement to greater access to and discretion over forfeiture funds obtained through seizures in Indian country. BACKGROUND: Age-related changes in exercise performance during adolescence are complex because of progressive physical and functional changes, in which multiple factors are involved.

METHODS: Peak and submaximal cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) parameters were studied in healthy children and adolescents.

RESULTS: TTotal 303 subjects were divided into six groups by ages and sex: ≤11 years old (yo) (28/22 for males/females), 12–15 yo (61/98), and ≥16 yo (52/42). Rest and peak heart rate (HR) were comparable in all groups. Absolute peak values of oxygen consumption (˙ VO2), work rate (WR), and oxygen pulse (OP) were higher in older age groups in both …

Source code security auditing is essential before software release in order to identify programming faults that may lead to vulnerabilities and functional failures. In this paper, we present a structured security assessment of the Windows App SDK by integrating multiple static analysis tools with a context-aware and disagreement-aware Large Language Model (LLM) interpretation layer. Although static analyzers are effective in reporting potential weaknesses, their raw outputs often contain redundant alerts, limited contextual explanation, and inconsistent severity assignments. The Laurentian Great Lakes, often resembling inland seas, exhibit complex interactions between wind and waves that influence lake conditions. Monitoring these dynamics currently relies on buoy-based measurements and model predictions. Recent advancements in commercial satellite technology now provide high-revisit, high-resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery, such as ICEYE’s X-band data from the NASA Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) program. SAR offers all-weather, day-and-night capabilities, making it a valuable tool for Great Lakes monitoring. Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) is an economically damaging invasive pest to global vegetable production. Current management strategies rely heavily on insecticides, but increasing levels of resistance raise sustainability concerns.
