Re-cross linkable preformed particle gel (RPPG) has been considered to be one of the most promising gels for dealing with fracture and void space conduit (VSC) conformance problems. However, the dehydration of RPPG during its propagation in the fracture-type features and its effect on gel properties remains unclear. This paper investigates the dehydration behavior during RPPG propagating in an open fracture using matrix-free fracture model. Then the results were verified using real fractured sandstone core model. Moreover, the gel properties after extruding a fracture were studied in detail including gel dehydration and gel strength. This paper seeks to provide conceptual and empirical justifications for civil servants to engage in disobedience to curb bureaucratic pathology. Various civil servants have long complained that they face illegal instructions from their superiors. The cases discussed here are from public procurement, which has a dimension of political corruption, a recurring problem in many places in Indonesia. Thus, the problem shall be seen as a bureaucratic pathology rather than as maladministration. INTRODUCTION Smoking after a cancer diagnosis is associated with poor outcomes whereas smoking cessation improves survival and other outcomes. Although professional societies and practice guidelines call for equitable tobacco treatment delivery in healthcare, disparities in tobacco-related disease burden persist. METHODS In the context of an outpatient US cancer center’s population-based tobacco treatment program, this study examines associations between cancer survivors’ rural and Appalachian residence status and: 1) current tobacco use status, 2) decision to decline tobacco treatment, and 3) reason for declining assistance. Purpose: To describe a case of massive pulmonary embolism (PE) in a patient with acromegaly and multiple prior venous thromboembolic (VTE) events who was perioperative, emphasizing the hypercoagulable risk and management challenges. Background: Acromegaly, characterized by elevated insulin-like growth factor-1, may predispose patients to thrombotic events via endothelial dysfunction and procoagulant changes. Introduction: For a blood-based biomarker to be considered a confirmatory test for the detection of abnormal amyloid beta (Aβ) levels, the sensitivity and specificity must be equivalent to that of current cerebrospinal fluid tests. The literature on youth ministry practices is mostly anecdotal, and empirical research into the practices, goals, and meanings of youth ministry to youth pastors is rare, especially in Australia. In this study, 20 youth pastors in Perth, Western Australia, were interviewed about their goals, priorities, practices, training, and what influenced them. This study forms part of a larger doctoral research project. The interview data were analysed utilising a phenomenological approach, drawing upon Goffman’s framing analysis to examine the link between ‘meaning making’ and explicit and tacit motivations for youth ministry practice. This study provides a comprehensive comparison of lithium recovery through mining of spodumene deposits, and the recovery of lithium from used batteries via recycling, in terms of technological, economic and environmental impacts. Schools can play a crucial role in encouraging young people to make constructive societalcontributions that transcend group lines and that benefit communities more generally.Recognising this potential, the present research examined the relationship between perceivedschool climate norms of equality, and in turn perspective-taking on two forms of constructivecontributions amongst youth in England: civic engagement and collective action intentions insupport of refugees. This study evaluates the feasibility for developing and maintaining a comprehensive tractor truck trailer database. The commercial motor vehicle (CMV) community currently lacks a cross-jurisdictional, centralized repository for commercial trailers registered in United States and Canadian jurisdictions. Existing federal databases provide information on interstate commercial motor carriers, vehicles, and drivers but exclude trailers. Similarly, IRP and IFTA do not collect trailer-level data, and trailer data is displayed inconsistently across its customer base. Approximately one fifth of violations in Kentucky during inspections from 2020 to 2022 were attributed to trailers, including worn tires, inadequate brakes or improper registration. The rise of …

This article evaluates the Environmental Protection and Management Law (UUPPLH) as amended by the Omnibus Law on Job Creation (UUPPLH-Ciptaker) and its implementing regulations. The evaluation uses the normative framework of the principle of non-regression to assess whether the provisions of the UUPPLH-Ciptaker and its implementing regulations represent a setback compared to the legal conditions prior to the enactment of the Omnibus Law. The advance of immersive and virtual technologies draws into starker contrast the analogue modalities of dominant approaches to actor training and makes more visible certain of their dynamics, which are analysed here using a philosophical framework of habit and habitus as propositionally causative. The chapter shares critical insights into and reflective analysis of the screenwriting process for the author's essay film Father-land (2018), made collaboratively with the sound artist and film-maker Stuart Moore through an artists' research residency in Nicosia, the only divided capital city in Europe. During the residency, the film-makers lived close to the demilitarized Buffer Zone - a physical border controlled by the United Nations, which has separated the Greek Cypriot south from the Turkish-occupied north since the violent conflict that tore the island in two in 1974. Composite materials used in aircraft during in-flight service are vulnerable to impacts, which can lead to undetected damage and deterioration. Impact incidents can cause considerable structural harm that might not be immediately apparent, resulting in a decline in the mechanical properties of material and overall performance. A growing divide in physical activity amongst youth, fueled by the privatization of youth athletic programs, most negatively impacts underrepresented students. Intramural-sports programs hold the potential to engage more of our youth in physical activity, including those from marginalized populations. Utilizing a collective impact approach, school-community partnerships can create opportunities for access and strive toward equity in youth health.
