Numerous in-service steel H-piles, a common structural element in the bridge industry, suffer severe corrosion. One of the adopted solutions is to use concrete jackets to encase the corroded sections. Therefore, interfacial shear strength between the uncorroded section and the jacket is crucial. This paper presents an experimental investigation of the interfacial shear stresses of 18 full-scale H-piles encased in concrete jackets and subjected to push-out static testing. The concrete jackets are confined using different carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) confinement ratios. Different cross-sectional areas and distributions of shear studs are investigated. Existing research on construction labor productivity (CLP) within specific trades has produced inconsistent findings due to differences in the factors analyzed. Accidental collisions between over-height trucks and bridge superstructures are a common threat to existing bridge infrastructure. These incidents often stem from illegal over-height vehicles or truck operators' unawareness of clearance limits, posing serious safety risks and causing substantial structural damage. This study presents a comprehensive numerical investigation of the dynamic response of prestressed concrete girder bridges subjected to over-height truck impacts. Large-scale finite element models were developed in LS-DYNA, with validation conducted against experimental results. Crowdsourcing contests have emerged as a popular approach for organisations to leverage collective intelligence and tap into the expertise of a diverse crowd. Knowledge sharing in such contests is paramount in promoting individual or team participation. This study employs negative binomial regression analysis to explore the impact of dynamic knowledge-sharing features – knowledge volume, knowledge expansion, knowledge innovation, and knowledge popularity – on team participation, using data from 211 crowdsourcing contests hosted on Kaggle. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published the Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria (6th Edition) (MMUCC) in 2024. This updated version of the MMUCC contains recommendations for improving and standardizing electronic crash data. Its guidelines address the collection and presentation of 105 data elements and 1,056 data attributes. To facilitate a possible redesign of Kentucky’s crash reporting process, Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) researchers reviewed the updated criteria and evaluated the degree to which the state complies with its recommended methods of gathering, storing, and presenting crash data. State-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) are capable of scoring highly on proficiency benchmarks, and as a result have been deployed across industries to increase productivity and convenience. Research on how students of color are employed in on-campus student affairs positions and the development of their marketable skills for post-graduation employment is limited. To address this gap, this study examined the experiences of 12 students of color in student affairs roles. The goal was to understand how these students benefitted from their on-campus employment, developed valuable skills, and secured job opportunities after graduation.

Its impact, however, hinges on timely, transparent, and context-specific communication to stakeholders, including health authorities, policymakers, scientists, clinicians, and the public. This review examines current WBS communication practices, identifies persistent challenges, and proposes strategies to enhance relevance. ABSTRACT Objectives: To analyze the trends, histopathological characteristics, and demographic distribution of genitourinary (GU) tumors at a major academic center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, over a 16-year period (2007–2023). Methods: A retrospective review of electronic medical records was conducted, including all histologically confirmed cases of GU tumors. Data on patient demographics, tumor type, and histopathological findings were extracted and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Results: A total of 1,791 GU tumor cases were identified. Bladder cancer was the most prevalent (42%), followed by prostate cancer (21%) and renal cell carcinoma (21%). ABSTRACT Objectives: This study investigates the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in Saudi Arabia, analyzing variations by gender, age, and geographical region. Methods: An observational, cross-sectional analysis was conducted from January 2014 to February 2024 using data from Al Borg laboratories, including ferritin levels, demographics, and routine hematological results. Results: The study included 420,956 individuals, with 73% being female and 94% over 15 years old. The IDA was found in 19.8% of patients, Non-Anemic Iron Deficiency (NAID) in 23.7%, and other anemias in 9.6%. Females represented 93% of those with IDA and NAID. ABSTRACT Objectives: To measure the pressure exerted on the base of the tongue during endotracheal intubation using a standard pediatric model. Methods: The study was conducted in October–November 2022 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Ankara, Turkey. Anesthesiology residents performed intubations with Glidescope ® -LoPro-T2, Storz ® -C-MAC-paediatric-D-blade, and standard-Macintosh-1-blade on the same pediatric intubation model.
