Labor transition is considered a strategy to adapt and strengthen their resilience. This study aims to analyze the effect of education level and several macroeconomic variables on the corruption index in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member countries. This study uses the two-stage least square (2SLS) estimation method. Crude oil prices have become volatile as geopolitical conflicts that occur in oil-exporting countries make the Indonesian government have to increase fuel prices and plan to provide cash transfers as compensation. This study analyzes the impact of fuel price rising and the direct cash assistance compensation program/Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT BBM) on poverty using micro data simulation. Poverty simulation is generated by modifying the poverty line (GK) and expenditure by utilizing leading indicators such as commodities inflation, household consumption expenditure growth, and population growth. Intra-industry trade between Indonesia and some neighbouring countries like the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam can be characterised as an imperfectly competitive market and be driven by increasing returns to achieve economies of scale. Who Intervenes When Jews Or Muslims Are Persecuted? Replicating A Profile Pattern From Holocaust Rescuers, Magnus Lindén, Fredrik Björklund, George R. Wilkes

This study examined whether the characteristics that motivated non-Jews to rescue Jews during the Holocaust also predict morally courageous intentions among contemporary high school students. A sample of Swedish students (N = 231) completed a survey measuring parental role modelling, empathic concern, risk-taking, and identification with outgroups, and then indicated whether they would intervene to help persecuted Jews and Muslims in various hypothetical scenarios. All factors were significant predictors of intention to intervene; however, parental role modelling lost significance in a hierarchical regression analysis. Although co-curricular involvement has been known to foster leadership learning, little research has explored how graduates themselves view these experiences and their career relevance. Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS), also known as septic systems, are widely used across the United States, particularly in rural and coastal areas that lack access to centralized sewer infrastructure. Regular maintenance, such as pump-outs, is essential for preserving system performance and protecting environmental health. This photo essay examines the contested cultural and political landscapes surrounding the Statue of Peace, a bronze sculpture by Kim Seo- kyung and Kim Eun-sung that commemorates the victims of wartime sexual slavery,commonly referred to as the“comfort women.”Better known to South Koreans as the “Statue of a Girl,” this public art piece has served more than a memorial as it has become a flashpoint of grassroots activism, vandalism, and international controversy. In this work, nanoparticles (NPs) composed of noble elements (Au and Ag) were prepared using a chemical reduction method and then combined with a spray pyrolysis technique for synthesizing ZnAgO and Au-doped ZnAgO nanorods (NRs). The films were produced by adding 2 wt% of Ag NPs and 2, 4, and 6 wt% of Au NPs at 420°C. The results showed that the films have a polycrystalline ZnO (wurtzite) with a hexagonal structure.
