China’S Revised Arbitration Law, Jillian Farrell

Historically, China has been an undesirable venue for arbitration amongst foreign parties. Chinese arbitration institutions had been quasi-governmental, creating concerns about institutional bias and the perception that Chinese arbitrators exercised “ambiguous flexibility” in their decision-making. Chinese courts also had a reputation for not enforcing arbitration awards. Although there has not been empirical data to suggest that Chinese Arbitration proceedings are always biased, the provisions of China’s Arbitration Law itself alongside individual’s experiences painted Chinese Arbitration as unfair and unenforceable.

The court denied the tenant's motion to dismiss a holdover petition, finding the predicate notice sufficient despite lacking detailed small landlord exemption proof. The landlord was permitted to amend the petition to include Good Cause Eviction Law (GCEL) small landlord exemption information required by RPL § 214(1), as such pleading defects are amendable. The tenant's motion for leave to file an answer was largely granted, and limited discovery was ordered regarding the landlord's claimed exemption and the tenant's harassment counterclaims, while overly broad discovery demands were stricken.

Effective mentorship is fundamental to professional development in nursing; however, there are limited initiatives that cater to the unique cultural and contextual needs of Filipino American nurses. To bridge this gap, the Philippine Nurses Association of America launched its Patnubay sa Pagtatagumpay Program (P3). This innovative initiative offers a culturally tailored approach to mentorship, incorporating features such as mentor-mentee pairings, structured goal setting, and year-long cohort support. Valemetostat tosylate (valemetostat) is an oral, potent, dual inhibitor of enhancer of zeste homolog (EZH)2/1, under investigation in non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) and solid tumors. In vitro, it inhibits cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) and P-glycoprotein (P-gp) when combined with sensitive CYP3A or P-gp substrates. This drug–drug interaction (DDI) sub-study is part of the phase 1 trial of valemetostat monotherapy (DS3201-A-J101; NCT02732275), assessing the effect of valemetostat on the pharmacokinetics (PK) of sensitive CYP3A and P-gp substrates midazolam and digoxin, respectively, in patients with relapsed or refractory NHL, and its safety and efficacy. Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) is the primary input of new reactive nitrogen to natural terrestrial ecosystems. However, this flux is poorly constrained due to its unclear drivers and associated control mechanisms. Here, we extend the existing theory of nitrogen (N) isotope mass balance to estimate BNF rates and then use a Bayesian approach to constrain the BNF rates in natural terrestrial ecosystems by using measurements of natural N-isotope ratios (δ¹⁵N) in plants (δ_P) and soil (δ_S). [Objective] To improve the detection result accuracy of the fluoride content of brick tea. [Methods] Brick tea is taken as the research object to evaluate the uncertainty of the fluorine content of brick tea by the fluoride ion-selective electrode method according to GB 19965—2005 "Fluorine content of brick tea", CNAS-GL006 "Guide on Quantifying Uncertainty in Chemical Analysis", and JJF 10591—2012 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement". [Objective] To improve the path planning efficiency of multi-station food sorting robots. [Methods] A two-stage path planning method based on the improved gold rush optimizer (IGRO) was proposed. First, a two-layer planning model was constructed, incorporating the optimal grasping position at a single station and the shortest moving distance among multiple stations, with comprehensive consideration of three objectives:path length, smoothness, and safety. Ameliorating Effect Of Haematococcus Pluvialis Powder On Lps-Induced Barrier Damage In Hok Cells, Xie Jinmei, Chen Cailian, Zhang Yong, Zheng Yunjian, Xie Xi

[Objective] To investigate the protective effect of Haematococcus pluvialis (H.pluvialis) powder on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced oral epithelial damage. [Methods] The effects of different doses of H.pluvialis on the viability of human oral keratinocytes (HOKs) were assessed. In LPS-induced HOKs, changes in the tight junction-associated proteins ZO-1 and Occludin, mitochondrial morphology, reactive oxygen species (ROS), mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), mitochondrial superoxide (MitoSOX), and mitochondrial permeability transition pore (MPTP) were evaluated. [Results] Compared with the LPS model group, high-dose H.pluvialis significantly upregulated the expression levels of Occludin and ZO-1 to 151.56% and 170.52%, respectively (P < 0.05), and promoted their membrane localization. In addition, H.pluvialis markedly improved LPS-induced excessive ROS and MitoSOX production, the reduction in MMP, and the increase in MPTP in HOKs. [Conclusion] H.pluvialis may alleviate LPS-induced barrier damage in HOKs by improving mitochondrial dysfunction and reducing oxidative stress, suggesting its potential as a functional food for oral mucosal barrier repair.

[Objective] To investigate the properties of functional peptides in Hongjun Tofu. [Methods] Functional peptides were extracted from Hongjun Tofu by ultrasound-assisted water extraction. The crude peptide content was used as the evaluation index to investigate the effects of extraction time, pH, extraction temperature, and solid-liquid ratio on peptide extraction. Single-factor and orthogonal experiments were designed to optimize the extraction process, and the antioxidant activity of the obtained functional peptides was evaluated. In the current era of increasing emphasis on dietary health, Hericium erinaceus can be an ideal choice for a balanced diet. Based on previous research, this paper comprehensively summarizes the active ingredients contained in Hericium erinaceus, including terpenes, ketones, ergothioneine, and polysaccharides. The specific types and different active functions of corresponding ingredients are elaborated, while the prospect is also given on the future development of active ingredients.

Research on the relationship between integrative oncology (IO) programs and dispensing of chemotherapy agents and supportive care drugs, and hospitalization rates is limited. The present study examined these outcomes in chemotherapy-treated patients with cancer, comparing patients highly adherent to integrative care (high-AIC) to those with low adherence (low-AIC). Data from patients with cancer treated with taxane and/or platinum-based agents participating in an ongoing prospective, controlled pragmatic trial were examined retrospectively. Purpose: Recruiting and retaining a robust rural health care workforce is critical to advancing health outcomes in rural communities. Although increasing the rural provider workforce has been a policy focus for decades, rural access continues to worsen. Using a strengths-based approach, we identify factors that influence the decisions of advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to leave or stay in their jobs.

Background: Parenting practices contribute to children’s eating and physical activity behaviors, and thereby their risk of obesity and associated medical conditions. Fathers may engage in different parenting practices than mothers. The objective of this study was therefore to establish psychometrically sound tools in English and Spanish for measuring Physical Activity Parenting Practices (PAPP) and Food Parenting Practices (FPP) for Hispanic and non-Hispanic fathers of diverse races for use in future studies, such as evaluations of family-based obesity interventions targeted at fathers.
