Background: Infectious diseases are a great challenge to the health of children globally. This paper provides an epidemiological scenario and patterns of these diseases among children in the Hilla Babylon Governorate, Iraq, and specifically, the re-emergence of meals.

Methods: The retrospective study was carried out on 7851 medical records of children aged below 15 years between the period of January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. The registry of Babylon Maternity and Children Hospital was used to extract data. There is growing interest in the use of multi-component Tier 2 preventive interventions to help address youth behavior problems in schools, yet parent and youth attendance at sessions can be suboptimal, and, if not optimized, can compromise outcomes. The current study explored baseline predictors of parent and youth attendance at the school-based Early Adolescent Coping Power (EACP) program, a preventive intervention for middle schoolers with externalizing problems. Purpose: This project evaluated undergraduate nursing students’ competency and knowledge in palliative care (PC) before a semester-long course. Findings informed curriculum design to strengthen students’ understanding and application of PC concepts in clinical practice.

Background/Significance: Palliative care is vital in nursing education, yet integration into undergraduate curricula remains inconsistent (Lippe & Becker, 2021). Developing PC competence enhances patients’ and families’ quality of life (Alhaddar et al., 2025). Assessing students’ baseline knowledge helps identify learning gaps and align curricula with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing [AACN] CARES Competencies (AACN, 2021) in PC education.

After the tenant's Section 8 subsidy was terminated, the landlord sought rent amounts attributable to the Section 8 portion even though the tenant had not signed rent-stabilized renewal leases after termination of the subsidy.
