The purpose of this hermeneutic-phenomenological study was to gain a profound understanding of what secondary education social studies teachers experience when they increase strategies to build rapport with students to strengthen classroom management techniques. There were 10 participants who teach in Central Pennsylvania public school districts. Childhood trauma including experiences of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, neglect and exposure to violence has been widely recognized as a significant risk factor for the development of psychological disorders in adulthood. Such early life adversities can disrupt emotional, cognitive, and social development which can contribute to long-term mental health challenges. This qualitative study aimed to explore and understand how childhood trauma influenced adult psychological disorders, not only by examining direct impacts but also by identifying perceived moderating factors that shaped incarcerated individuals’ outcomes. The purpose of this interpretative phenomenological analysis research study was to understand the lived experiences of adoptive mothers in the United States who had relinquished their parental rights and legally dissolved their adoption of a child. The theory guiding this study was the theory of being and time. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the perceived influence of funding on self-efficacy towards technology use after professional development for HBCU professional athletic staff at Vartell University in North Carolina. This phenomenological study explored the prevalence of high-risk suicidal thoughts and behaviors in elementary school children in Virginia, and how these incidents impacted their elementary school counselor. It examined the professional and personal impact that high-risk suicide events with elementary school students have on their elementary school counselor. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews. This dissertation reinterprets the reign of the Eastern Roman emperor Arcadius (395-408 CE), challenging the entrenched view of a passive figurehead by arguing that he governed through indirect, procedure-driven rule. It analyzes how Arcadius shaped outcomes via law, office rotation, ecclesiastical appointments, and controlled visibility while shifting political risk to ministers and bishops through strategic inaction. Grounding is the practice of connecting the human body to the Earth’s electrical surface. It has been proposed as a natural intervention capable of reducing inflammation, enhancing recovery, and improving physiological balance. While much has been written on the Great Hawaiian Revival, most has provided a general historical overview in which the primary focus has been on the great missionary Titus Coan and the immense revival that took place at the church in Hilo, Hawai’i. However, this paper argues that, when digging a little deeper, one soon discovers that there was so much more to the story. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to understand the lived experiences of single parents who chose to homeschool their students in South Florida. The theory guiding this study was Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems. The central research question was focused on how single-parent home educators describe their experience. The methodology used was qualitative, utilizing the following data collection methods: personal interviews, journaling, and focus groups.
