This research examines the difficulties encountered in the implementation of follow-up guidance and counseling services, with a particular focus on the perspectives of school counselors. For the research methodology, a qualitative case study approach was adopted, along with semi-structured interview techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the follow-up stages of guidance and counseling is hindered by the absence of evaluation, supervision, and reporting, as well as the lack of support from the school. We collected and analyzed a survey of 1,018 undergraduate students enrolled at a public regional university in Spring 2021, examining pandemic disruptions to education, living situations, and finances in the first year of the pandemic, and their relationship to loan presence and reports of taking out more loans as a result of the pandemic. Over half of students had student loans, and over one-third of them reported that they increased loan debt due to the pandemic. Results revealed pandemic-related academic and financial disruptions increased student debt for some. Students with loans were also more likely to have moved out of …

The rising costs of higher education have presented challenges for many students, particularly in rural areas where access to free-tuition programs has been limited. This cross-sectional study investigates the impact of the Besse Scholarship program, a rural guaranteed scholarship fund, on college attendance among students from Butternut High School. Targeting graduates between 1993 and 2022, the study employed convenience sampling and online surveys, with 120 respondents representing 21.4% of the eligible population. Results indicate that the Besse Scholarship motivated students to pursue higher education and provided significant financial relief. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, junior high school students tended to be nomophobic due to high smartphone use. This study analyses the relationship between self-concept and self-esteem with nomophobia tendencies in third-grade junior high school students. The approach used is a quantitative approach and a type of correlation research with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. There were 118 subjects involved who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques use rank spearman dan multiple regression. The results show that there is a relationship between self-concept and self-esteem and the tendency to nomophobia in junior high school students.
