This study aims to determine the developmental needs of elementary school students throughout the city of Kediri. The instrument was distributed to 480 students from 12 schools in Kediri City. Based on the results of the analysis of the Inventori Kebutuhan Perkembangan Murid (IKPM) it was found that 311 students really needed the services of the teacher about learning to carry out Islamic religious orders/teachings sincerely. This study aims to understand the peer counselors’ fundamental communication skills during online counseling in Peer Counseling Corner (PCC). In this phenomenology study, we gathered data through interviews, while the data validity was confirmed through data triangulation. The obtained data were analyzed using the data horizontalization analysis. Our results indicated that the peer counselors did not implement some basic communication skills during the online counseling, such as discussion initiation, rejection (preventing and prohibiting), confrontation, and silence. MTV’s Jersey Shore, launched in 2009, reached nearly 9 million viewers at the peak of its popularity. Inspired by the language used by the show’s male cast members to criticize a woman’s weight and appearance, such as “grenade” and “atomic bomb,” this study applies social congitive theory and reality television framework to analyze instances of shaming on Jersey Shore. Mycoplasma hyorhinis is a significant pathogen in swine, yet its fastidious nutritional requirements present challenges for in vitro cultivation. Conventional supplements like horse serum (HS) often suffer from batch variability and potential inhibitors. This study aimed to evaluate chicken serum (CS) and chicken egg yolk (CY) as novel alternatives to develop a reliable cultivation method for M. hyorhinis. Accurate preoperative prediction of cystic calculi composition is essential for effective treatment planning in dogs. This prospective study aims to investigate the utility of non-contrast multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) in differentiating calcium oxalate (CaOx) and struvite calculi based on mean Hounsfield unit (HU) and HU density values. Nineteen client-owned dogs with confirmed cystic calculi underwent non-contrast MDCT imaging at 80 and 120 kilovoltage peak (kVp) settings prior to surgical removal. The consequences of inadequate curing on one-part alkali-activated slag concrete (O-AAS) performance relative to ordinary Portland cement concrete (OPCC) have been investigated in this research. Prior to exposure to unsaturated conditions, samples underwent initial moist curing for durations ranging from 24 hours to one year. The testing program included compressive strength evaluation, chloride ion transport analysis, and measurement of free and restrained shrinkage. In addition, cylindrical cores were extracted from concrete columns to assess internal strength and chloride penetration resistance. Al-Jazzar Aqueduct and Sulayman Aqueduct were constructed in the Ottoman period to convey water from the springs of Kabri to the city of ‘Akko. Al-Jazzar Aqueduct was built in the second half of the eighteenth century by Jazzar Pasha, which prior to the present excavation was known only from Jacotin’s map and a few historical sources. The Sulayman Aqueduct, also known as the Aqueduct of Arches, was erected between 1812 and 1814 by Sulayman Pasha, and still stands today. An assemblage of 109 ceramic water pipes and bricks that originated from Ottoman-period water-supply systems along the northern Israeli coastal plain were studied. The aim of this study was to define the raw materials used in their production and identify possible sources, as well as to access technological aspects of their manufacturing process. It was found that the high percentage of sand in the clay, the vitrification obtained due to the use of seawater and the high firing temperatures made the water pipes less prone to leaks and more durable—qualities of outmost importance for items used to convey water. A Crusader-Period Pithos-Type Jar From Petaḥ Tiqwa, Mulabbis, Itamar Taxel

The Crusader-period (twelfth–thirteenth century CE) stratum uncovered at Mulabbis yielded a pithos broken into two halves and embedded in the ground. Both halves of the vessel exhibited remains of soot, indicating their use as sunken ovens or other fire-related installations. Pithoi are known to have commonly served as large stationary storage containers in domestic and commercial areas. While their primary use was for storing large quantities of dry or liquid foodstuffs, pithoi were commonly repurposed as ovens or hearths.

Glass Finds From Excavations At Petaḥ Tiqwa, Mulabbis, Yael Gorin-Rosen

This study presents the glass artifacts recovered from the excavations at Khirbat Mulabbis. Although preservation is limited, the assemblage includes items dating to the Late Roman–early Byzantine, Early Islamic and Crusader periods. The analysis focuses on manufacturing techniques, vessel forms and colors, and draws comparisons with assemblages from nearby sites and well-dated contexts at farther sites. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of glass production and use in the region and of the material culture of these periods.

During a salvage excavation at Mulabbis, Petaḥ Tiqwa, five massive Crusader-period fieldstone foundations were revealed. Two of the foundations supported a Crusader-period structure which stood on pillars built of large ashlars, some bearing diagonal hewing marks typical of the Crusader period. Between and above the pillar bases, two plastered chambers were built, identified as the remains of a Crusader-period water reservoir. This impressive Crusader-period complex was situated on a low hill summit overlooking a tributary of Naḥal Yarqon. Finds included an ornate stone capital and pottery dating to the twelfth–fourteenth centuries CE. This complex went out of use at the …
