This study examines the key drivers of customer satisfaction among Volkswagen car owners in Chennai, a major metropolitan market within India’s rapidly evolving automotive sector. As competition intensifies and consumer expectations shift, understanding the multidimensional aspects of satisfaction spanning product quality, performance, after-sales service, brand perception, and pricing has become essential for enhancing customer retention and loyalty. Employing a structured questionnaire administered to 100 Volkswagen customers, the study uses both descriptive and inferential statistical tools to identify significant satisfaction determinants. This project asks whether short-term financial difficulty damages worker performance or if alleviating it improves focus and accuracy. Using data from a field experiment in rural India, this study examine how labor payment timing variability is related to workers' productivity and error rates. The study randomized payment dates across a sample of employees, so that employees paid early can be compared to employees paid on standard or later dates. Notions of Global Production Networks (GPNs) are popular approaches to studying the complex, dispersed, and socially embedded production of goods and services. Yet, these concepts have largely struggled with incorporating environmental resources, risks, and actors. My dissertation leverages insights from Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to contextualize ecological elements of production as coequal participants with social stakeholders. I describe how GPNs are ecologically embedded and nested within the natural environment. I draw from ANT to develop a GPN framework that internalizes ecological dimensions. Purpose: This study examines the impact of halal labeling on the purchase intent of Korean food (K-food) imports among Indonesian Muslim millennials. It also explores how halal certification origins—Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) vs. Korean Muslim Federation (KMF)—affect consumer perceptions and purchase decisions.

Design/methodology/approach: Using a sample of 370 respondents aged 18–42 who purchased K-food in the past year, this study employed Multi-Group Structural Equation Modeling (MG-SEM). Respondents were randomly assigned to groups exposed to different halal labeling stimuli to assess their impact on trust, brand attitude, and purchase intent.
