This thesis evaluates the equity performance of a recent state environmental justice policy, California’s Senate Bill 535 (S.B. 535). “Environmental justice” refers to the disproportionate environmental harm imposed on low-income and minority communities. S.B. 535 uses competitive grants to provide funding to these communities. The research is centered around two questions: (1) to what extent has S.B. 535 experienced successful implementation in its first year of operation, and (2) how can policy actors improve implementation while balancing performance and equity goals? The first Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP1) was a federal intervention designed to mitigate the damage of the recession, but there is scant evidence of program effectiveness. A phenomenological study, using a method outlined by Moustakas,

Recent research and government reports have indicated that there may be communication failures between EMPs and minority community members, though little is known about how minority communities perceive EMP communication efforts. For noncustodial fathers, having legal rights and leaving an inheritance to their child or children are important aspects of being an active father. Georgia state law sees a difference between paternity and legitimation, and for some noncustodial fathers, although paternity is established and they are responsible for supporting that child financially and medically as deemed through child support enforcement, they have no legal rights to their children, nor can they petition the courts for visitation until legitimation is established. تهدف الدراسة الى تمييز الدور الذي يمارسه التمكين النفسي في السلوك الريادي . تضمن التمكين النفسي اربعة ابعاد هي : المقدرة، المعنى، الكفاءة الذاتية والاثر. تمثلت عينة الدراسة بـ (80) تدريسي في ثلاث كليات في جامعة المثنى . اظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود مستوى جيد من التمكين النفسي المدرك من قبل عينة الدارسة في كل الكليات المبحوثة وكانت القيمة العليا للتأثير ، المقدرة ، المعنى والاستقلالية . السلوك الريادي ايضا بلغ مستوى عالي للمتوسط الحسابي . اما اهم الاستنتاجات التي توصلت لها الدراسة هو وجود تأثير مهم للتمكين النفسي على السلوك الريادي .
