Controller Design For Hypersonic Vehicle Based On Kalman Filter, Tao Chao, Jianliang Ai
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: For a generic hypersonic vehicle with unstable longitudinal and lateral-directional mode, considering the three dimensional turbulence and their gradient, all states linear dynamic equations were established. All states H∞ feedback control was proposed based on the discrete Kalman filter when three dimensional turbulence and system measurement noise were taken into consideration. In this way, state estimation created by the Kalman filter to the H∞ controller was delivered. This method could guarantee the robustness when external atmospheric turbulence and itself parameter matrices perturbation caused by the flight condition variation existed. The results show that for both the nominal …

Abstract: According to the complexity of non-uniform axial force on recycled aggregate concrete confined by steel tube column, precise modeling and simulation on non-uniform axial force were put forward, mechanic properties of axial force under uniform and non-uniform conditions were analyzed, and its three-dimensional model and force model were established. Then impact of load capacity was analyzed, such as geometric diameter, loading condition, and deformation during production. Force simulation and experimental results fit relatively well. It turned out that uniform axial load capacity was greater than concentrated eccentric axial load capacity. Besides, eccentric axial load capacity was related to eccentricity. …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Grid-connected solar micro-inverter is a highly nonlinear and time-varying system, so it is difficult to achieve good control effect using traditional PI controller. Small signal analysis model of micro-inverter was established, grid-connected current control strategy composed of fuzzy PI controller and grid voltage feed-forward was put forward, and the initial parameters of PI controller was optimized using the genetic algorithm. Simulation results show that the control strategy has the virtues of good robustness, small dynamic deviation, and could reduce the harmonic content of grid-connected current.

Engineering Faculty Articles and Research
Eating disorders are very complicated and many factors play a role in their manifestation. Furthermore, due to the variability in diagnosis and symptoms, treatment for an eating disorder is unique to the individual. As a result, there are numerous assessment tools available, which range from brief survey questionnaires to in-depth interviews conducted by a professional. One of the many benefits to using machine learning is that it offers new insight into datasets that researchers may not previously have, particularly when compared to traditional statistical methods. The aim of this paper was to employ k-means clustering to explore the Eating Disorder …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: According to the fact that combat simulation entity models built by traditional modeling method lack of standardization and reusability, based on analysis and induction of combat simulation entity factors, component-based modeling method of combat simulation entity was brought forward. Meanwhile, entity management mechanism of using “scheme-unit-entity-component” and model interaction mechanism of message-derived, event-subscribed and event-dispatched were discussed. The component-based modeling method will provide technique support to build excellent combat simulation entity model and standardizing the development of combat simulation entity model to avoid low-level duplication.

With the rise of online e-commerce platforms, more and more customers prefer to shop online. To sell more products, online platforms introduce various modules to recommend items with different properties such as huge discounts. A web page often consists of different independent modules. The ranking policies of these modules are decided by different teams and optimized individually without cooperation, which might result in competition between modules. Thus, the global policy of the whole page could be sub-optimal. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-agent cooperative reinforcement learning approach with the restriction that different modules cannot communicate. Our contributions are …

Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems
In this paper, we propose a hybrid framework to solve large-scale permutation-based combinatorial problems effectively using a high-performance quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) solver. To do so, transformations are required to change a constrained optimization model to an unconstrained model that involves parameter tuning. We propose techniques to overcome the challenges in using a QUBO solver that typically comes with limited numbers of bits. First, to smooth the energy landscape, we reduce the magnitudes of the input without compromising optimality. We propose a machine learning approach to tune the parameters for good performance effectively. To handle possible infeasibility, we introduce …
