In this research, we examine the organizational, financial, and environmental drivers of design innovations and how they contrast to technological innovations. Our study utilizes a unique dataset encompassing a 10-year window of innovation output drawn from the computer, communications, and audio and video equipment manufacturing industries. The main focus of this paper will go through the distinct parts of Creation and the Fall, but the focus will be on Redemption specifically in the realm of work and how it relates to business marketing. In Creation, God created us in His image meaning we were gifted with the ability to create and to form relationships. Library Marketing: From Passion To Practice, Jill S. Heinze Sep 2018

Library Marketing: From Passion To Practice, Jill S. Heinze

Charleston Library Conference

As discussed in the Charleston Briefing entitled Library Marketing: From Passion to Practice, successfully marketing libraries requires more than a sound communication strategy. Marketing is, in fact, all of an organization’s activities that deliver a product or service to its intended customers. This distinction means that library organizations need to expand their views about what it means to “market” themselves to encompass all of the touchpoints users have with their services. In the process, librarians are challenged to reconcile marketing practices from the business world with their public service ethos, as well as ensure their missions are well defined and …
