Learning About Land Through Indigenous Storywork, Critical Information Literacy, And Archival Research At The Northern Shores Storywork Project Site, Kel Sassi

This article takes a critical approach to an Information Literacy and Leadership Institute (Institute) for Upper Peninsula K-12 educators with the goal of coming to terms with the dispossession of Indigenous peoples in the region. Participants learned about critical information literacy in relation to archival materials about settler colonization and resource extraction and created curriculum materials for their classrooms. Facilitators designed institute activities with Archibald’s Indigenous Storywork principles in mind and analyzed the outcomes through this framework. The focus on land was reflected in teacher materials, but could be integrated more deeply in future institutes.

The Mary Phillips White Gettys Family Papers document multiple generations of the Phillips, White, and Gettys families of York and Chester Counties, South Carolina, with particular emphasis on family correspondence, military service, and commemorative remembrance spanning the early twentieth century through the early twenty-first century. The collection includes original letters, transcriptions, photographs, newspaper clippings, maps, printed materials, memorabilia, and personal artifacts that illuminate both private family life and broader experiences of war and civic engagement.

Abstract. The use of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) technology in security systems is often passive in nature, functioning mainly as a tool for documentation and post-incident evidence collection. This article presents a case study of successful active live surveillance conducted by security personnel at the Security Operation Center of a private security company in prayer rooms (mushola) of Stations X and Z. Through 24/7 CCTV monitoring and real-time voice intervention using integrated loudspeakers, significant changes were observed in preventing theft of personal belongings of visitors during prayer. Protest-related vandalism has become a recurring phenomenon in Indonesia’s democratic landscape, particularly during large-scale demonstrations involving students, labor groups, and civil society coalitions. Conventional legal approaches that define vandalism as a public-order violation are insufficient to explain why such actions persist, why they concentrate on symbolic state targets, and why participants frequently deny moral wrongdoing. Yogyakarta is widely recognized as a city of culture and education, a symbolic identity institutionalized through historical narratives, political discourse, and cultural policy. The emergence of klitih—a term originally denoting aimless wandering but now associated with youth-perpetrated street violence—has challenged this image and generated intense public concern. While existing studies primarily explain klitih through causal factors such as peer influence, family supervision, and socio-economic conditions, this article shifts attention to the discursive construction of the phenomenon. With profound sadness we mark the passing of Professor Dan J. Stein—clinician, scientist, philosopher, and friend. A pioneer of International and African psychiatry, and a central figure in global neuropsychopharmacology, he devoted his life to understanding and relieving the burden of mental disorders in South Africa, across the African continent, and worldwide. In his death, we have lost a true giant.

Objective: The objective of the study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ocrelizumab (OCR) and rituximab (RTX) in multiple sclerosis.

Methods: This was a retrospective single-centre study. Ocrelizumab- and rituximab-treated patients were identified through the multiple sclerosis (MS) registry maintained at Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi (AKUHN), Kenya. Adult patients aged 18–65 years old who fulfilled the McDonald 2017 diagnosis criteria and received treatment with either rituximab or ocrelizumab between January 2016 and June 2025 were retrospectively evaluated. Investigative professionalism constitutes a fundamental pillar of the criminal justice system; however, its realization is frequently constrained by institutional design and procedural limitations within oversight mechanisms. This article examines the role of the Investigation Supervision Bureau (Biro Pengawas Penyidikan (Birowassidik)) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Badan Reserse Kriminal (Bareskrim)) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in handling public complaints related to investigative performance. Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida, Bali, is a highly promoted tourist destination that has been repeatedly associated with serious injuries and fatalities. Despite well-known hazards, incidents continue to occur, raising concerns about public safety governance at natural tourism sites. This study adopts a qualitative case study approach using media reports, policy statements, scientific studies on coastal risk management, and official tourism safety communications. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of risk recognition, safety intervention, and institutional response. Issues of police integrity are not only driven by individual misconduct but are also sustained by organizational norms that inhibit the reporting of wrongdoing, known as the Code of Silence (CoS). This article reports the results of a large-scale, scenario-based police integrity survey conducted among personnel of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). After excluding responses that did not meet the honesty criterion, analyses were conducted on 57,574 respondents. Respondents evaluated six misconduct scenarios and assessed perceived seriousness, perceived deterrence (likelihood of detection and sanction), knowledge of rules, and willingness to report. The National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) is a multiple-choice examination that Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students must pass to obtain licensure as physical therapists in the United States. Recent national data show a concerning decline in first-time pass rates, dropping from 91% in 2020 to 82% in 2025.¹ This downward trend is also reflected at our university. Purpose. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students have grown up immersed in technology, which may influence how they learn. Technology-Enhanced/Enriched Learning (TEL) refers to technology used in face-to-face, online, or hybrid learning environments. Limited research has examined TEL within DPT education programs. This study investigated DPT students’ experiences with TEL and compared its impact to traditional lecture-based learning (TLBL) on classroom participation, engagement, and comprehension.

Technological trends are increasingly promoting the incorporation of generative Artificial Intelligence, or AI, for a variety of applications in education and other professional areas. This paper explores the academic application of instruction of generative AI as a tool for scholarly writing in an undergraduate writing intensive healthcare course. It utilizes a retrospective, quasi-experimental approach to data, reviewing pre/post electronic surveys to learn more about student use of generative AI, and frequencies from qualitative data regarding a targeted approach to generative AI use for peer review of a healthcare topic paper.
