The Audit Expectation Gap (AEG) has emerged as a demanding concern in the auditing profession, with far-reaching implications for corporate governance, financial reporting, and stakeholder trust; hence, this study investigated the effect of the AEG factors on the stakeholders’ confidence in Nigerian quoted firms. The study employed a cross-sectional survey research design, while a total of one hundred and three (103) valid responses were used for the analysis. Two international stem cell consortia, the International Stem Cell Initiative (ISCI) and the International Stem Cell Biobanking Initiative (ISCBI, www.iscbi.org ) held a workshop on June 15th 2025 in Hong Kong on genetic variants in human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) lines and accurate and standardized documentation of donor/hPSC genetic information including ethnicity. The occurrence and detection of genetic variants is a key issue for assuring reproducible stem cell research data and the safety of stem cell derived medicinal products. Background:Handgrip strength, gait speed, Five-Times-Sit-to-Stand Test (FTSST) performance, skeletal muscle mass and calf circumference are important health outcomes, particularly useful for diagnosing sarcopenia. The aim of this study was to establish reference (normative) values for handgrip strength, gait speed, FTSST performance, skeletal muscle mass and calf circumference by pooling individual participant data from national cohorts in Asia.

>Methods:We conducted a pooled analysis of individual participant data from 20 national cohorts representing 12 Asian countries (China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Sri Lanka). This article examines the significance of touch in Greco-Roman Antiquity and the Old Testament. Through an interdisciplinary approach drawing from philosophy, law, medicine, religious practice, and biblical ritual, the study retrieves touch as a meaningful and performative medium that conveys power, holiness, and social order. It shows how touch functions to establish boundaries, mediate relationships, and regulate access to the sacred. By comparing Greco-Roman sensory hierarchies with Israel’s covenantal and purity-centered worldview, the article highlights key distinctions between holiness and purity and contributes to ongoing discussions in biblical theology, ritual theory, and theological anthropology.

This article presents a comparative study of moral evil, human freedom, and justice in the Dhammapada and the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. Engaging insights from Paul Ricoeur and John Hick, the study examines how Buddhism and Christianity interpret the moral consequences of human actions. While differing in theological foundations—karmic law and divine justice—the traditions converge in affirming moral responsibility and the inevitability of ethical consequences, offering valuable insights for interreligious dialogue and contemporary ethical reflection.

Numerical Solution Of A Coupled Nonlinear Dynamic Problem Of Thermoviscoelasticity, Abdali Abdukarimov, Ibodat Turabekovna Khaldybaeva, Askarova Shamshetdinovna Ayjamal

This paper presents a numerical solution of a coupled nonlinear dynamic problem of thermoviscoelasticity. A Duffing-type oscillator with temperature-dependent properties is used to model nonlinear hereditary deformable systems. After specifying the temperature dependences of the elastic modulus 𝐸 and viscosity parameter 𝜂 and introducing dimensionless variables, the problem is reduced to a system of nonlinear integro-differential equations. A numerical procedure for solving this system is developed, and representative examples are computed. The results are presented in graphical form for various values of the governing parameters.

The Human Person As Relatio In Joseph Ratzinger’S Logos-Dialogos Theology, Junmar Cris N. Caputolan

This article examines the concept of the human person as relatio in the theology of Joseph Ratzinger. Marking the twentieth anniversary of Ratzinger’s election as pope, the paper situates his Logos-Dialogos theology at the intersection of Christology and theological anthropology. It traces the development of personhood from Augustine of Hippo and Boethius to Richard of St. Victor, culminating in Ratzinger’s relational vision of the human person. The study highlights how faith, reason, and love converge in a dialogical understanding of personhood oriented toward communion with God and others.

Why do populist groups attract religion as a partner or foe? Responses to this question often remain on the functional level and primarily stress the material content of populist and religious doctrines. Thus, they generate heated partisan polemics rather than enlightening insight. This multidisciplinary study focuses on the structural parallels in gathering people and discovering their authoritative will in the body politic and religious. Ignatius of Loyola’s spiritual progress unfolded as a transformative mystagogical journey shaped by two decisive conversions that prepared him for the illuminative stage and unitive life. His first conversion followed the battle of Pamplona, when he turned from a sinful past toward an initial desire to follow Christ to Jerusalem. This conversion, however, remained marked by narcissism and externalism. A second and more radical conversion occurred in Manresa, involving the purification of his self-propelled perfectionism. The two-fold ecumenical approach – inter-ecclesial ecumenism (Global North) and trans-ecclesial ecumenism (Global South) – reaches its limitations when viewed through the Philippine context. This gap refers to the distinct ecumenical challenges that need to be addressed. Thus, this study proposes a unique ecumenical model that integrates the inclusive ethos of loob and kapwa. Church organizations, like secular ones, face ageing, inertia, and the need for reform. Management scholars argue renewal is best pursued during an organization’s prime, when it is thriving. The Synod on Synodality offers such a pathway, continuing the vision of Vatican II. Renewal is urgent today, given shifting mission contexts and declining religious participation, with many Christians among the religiously disaffiliated. This article explores the Eucharistic Ecclesiology of Joseph Ratzinger, which takes its bearings from Christology. It discusses how Ratzinger understands the Church as fundamentally originating from the prayer of Jesus, which assumes its supreme expression in His Eucharistic self-communication. The communication and communicability of the Body of Christ finally draws out the intrinsic connection between Christology, Pneumatology, and Ecclesiology, so central in Ratzinger’s Eucharistic Ecclesiology.
