Digitalisasi pencatatan pemeriksaan kapal menjadi komponen kunci dalam upaya meningkatkan kecepatan, akurasi, dan efisiensi proses karantina kesehatan di pelabuhan. Saat ini, Balai Besar Karantina Kesehatan (BBKK) Tanjung Priok masih mengandalkan pencatatan manual berbasis kertas, yang sering menimbulkan duplikasi pekerjaan, risiko kehilangan atau kerusakan arsip, serta keterlambatan dalam penyusunan laporan. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan prototipe sistem pencatatan pemeriksaan kapal berbasis mobile menggunakan KoboToolbox, sebuah platform open-source yang diintegrasikan dengan Google Spreadsheet melalui pendekatan no-code system development. The enactment of the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act in July 2025 represents a pivotal shift in the digital asset landscape, providing a federal framework for payment stablecoins and addressing critical issues of transparency and reserve backing. However, this Article argues that the GENIUS Act addresses only a subset of the systemic inefficiencies hindering the transition of stablecoins from speculative instruments to institutional-grade financial tools. Through an analysis of current market data and regulatory gaps, this Article identifies four persistent challenges: fragmented liquidity across geographic corridors, practical spendability constraints rooted in tax and accounting treatment, …

Two case studies involving motorcycle-accident negligence and administrative law in the context of drone regulation violations explore the transformative potential of generative AI in legal practice. Four AI engines—DeepSeek, Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok—were asked to analyze transcripts of client interviews by identifying legal claims and assessing their strengths and weaknesses.

The results demonstrate that current AI technology effectively processes natural-language client interviews, identifies viable legal theories, and assesses claim strengths and weaknesses in both tort and administrative law contexts. The Comstock Act of 1873 is a federal anti-obscenity law that, along with lascivious and filthy literature, explicitly restricts the sending of anything that can be used to procure an abortion—including writing. However, since the decision of Roe v. Wade, the law’s abortion-speech provisions had been considered long-dead—although never officially being overturned. Now that Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization has rescinded the right to an abortion, the law appears to be reaching out from its grave. Tenant claimed an overcharge from the tenancy's inception, arguing the apartment should have been rent stabilized earlier. Landlord contended it was rent controlled until tenant's occupancy, making the initial rent lawful. The court denied both motions, citing unresolved material issues of fact regarding the apartment's status before the tenant's lease. Critical infrastructure (CI) systems such as power, water, communications, and emergency services are increasingly exposed to compound risks in which natural disasters and cyber incidents interact and amplify one another. Traditional risk assessments often isolate physical and digital threats, overlooking the cascading dependencies that emerge when operational stress, emergency reconfiguration, and adversarial exploitation coincide. This study conducts a 2019–2025 scoping review and introduces a Geographic Information System (GIS) driven six-stage disaster cyber compounding framework that characterizes, maps, and operationalizes compound risk across interdependent CI sectors. This dissertation develops a unified framework for characterizing YouTube channels through multimodal analysis that integrates behavioral modeling, dimensionality reduction, clustering, and content-based characterization to provide a holistic view of audience and editorial patterns. This study examined how cognitive and contextual factors jointly predict Chinese preschoolers’ science learning from the educational television program Big Bird Looks at the World (BBLW). Grounded in Fisch’s capacity model and Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological theory, the research aimed to clarify how children’s cognitive resources and ecological conditions interact to shape learning from media. Using secondary data from a large experimental sample of Chinese preschoolers (N = 849) across multiple regions, hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) was employed to estimate the relative contributions of predictors at the child and regional levels. The range and breadth of Roman law have extended and been assimilated into the distant corners of Europe based on the concept of Jus Commune. Law of Scotland is one of the countries which has adopted Roman legal principles in its substantive law. The Scots law is a non-codified Civil law in which legal principles have been drawn from both the civilian (i.e. Roman law) and common law traditions. This article draws on the US—Origin Marking Requirement case study to critically examine the concept of “territory” under the World Trade Organization (WTO) law, particularly in relation to trade with contested territories among WTO members. It argues that while trade with contentious territories is not explicitly covered in current WTO rules, WTO law does provide a regulatory framework for tackling such issues. Nevertheless, resolving trade disputes involving contested territories at the WTO remains challenging, particularly due to the limited discussion on the notion of “territory” and the national security exceptions in WTO jurisprudence. United Nations Special Rapporteurs assess national compliance with international human rights obligations, including educational rights articulated in treaties such as the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights ("ICESCR"). These evaluations typically involve treaty-bound states with explicit international commitments. However, the applicability of such assessments is less straightforward in non-ratifying federal states, such as the US, which rely on diverse state-level constitutional provisions rather than federal treaty obligations.

We present new observations on the dynamics and locations of deep mantle reservoirs derived from the ages and compositions of Voyager Seamount Chain lava flows. The previously unexplored Voyager Seamount Chain trends NW–SE between the Mid-Pacific Mountains and the Northwestern Hawaiian Ridge. Volcanic samples were recovered from the chain during the Ocean Exploration Trust expedition NA134. The lava flows are alkalic to highly alkalic in composition. Ages ranged from 81 to 86 Ma (n = 8), with the oldest ages in the NW and an age-progression toward the SE. The Voyager age-progression continues southward through the Northern Line Islands …

Early-onset atopic dermatitis (AD) affects approximately 10-20% of children in the United States, and emerging evidence suggests potential links between early immune dysregulation and neurodevelopmental outcomes. Limited research has examined whether early AD serves as a specific risk factor for later ASD diagnosis. Guided by life course theory, the purpose of this study was to examine whether AD diagnosed within the first two years of life predicts later diagnosis of ASD among U.S. children younger than five years.
