Historic interiors are unique repositories of memory, yet conventional reuse practices often fail to grasp their cultural complexity, prioritising formal interventions over lived experience. Dominant strategy-based frameworks for reuse struggle to capture the incremental, user-led adaptations that define these lived interiors. This paper addresses these limitations through a case study of the community-led revival of Harat al-Aqr, Oman. Methodologically, it reframes Alexander et al.'s (1977) pattern language as an interpretive lens for analysing the incremental evolution and embedded cultural intelligence of lived interiors. How the interior environment affects autistic people has been studied in settings such as education and healthcare. However, significant work has not been done in evaluating the effect of prison interiors on autistic inmates who may be hypersensitive, especially to light and sound. The purpose of this study was to determine how autistic inmates cope in a noisy, crowded environment that is not designed for them and that they cannot control. This qualitative research used grounded theory to interview five autistic inmates at a medium-security state prison for men in the US to find out their lived experience in prison. …

This study investigates the Shishinden, the principal ceremonial hall of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, as a site where spatial hierarchy, ritual movement, and material atmosphere converge to construct a unique form of interiority. Rather than treating the hall merely as a stylistic or historical artifact, the paper analyses how interior experience is actively produced through embodied ritual practices, symbolic spatial organisation, and sensory orchestration. By focusing on the interaction between architecture, politics, and cultural cosmology, the study demonstrates how the Shishinden functions as an affective interior that communicates imperial authority and sacred order. Purpose: In response to a call to seek renewed purpose and new conceptualizations for intercultural communication education (ICE) (Dervin and Tournebise, 2013), the purpose of this conceptual paper is to critiquee limited traditional models of ICE and to propose, explain and argue for a communication-process-centered (CPC) approach to the field. The proposed CPC framework emphasizes dynamic conceptualizations of culture, identity, and interaction as fluid processes rather than static traits.

Design/methodology/approach: The paper describes anticipated learning outcomes of the CPC approach and advocates for the use of ethnographic methods in classroom teaching. It provides practical ways for applying these methods …

The present study examined the personality traits of individuals who identify themselves as “Disney adults” and explored patterns of Disney-related engagement through a newly developed Disney Engagement Scale (DES). Personality traits have a history of being used in many capacities to identify themes within a population. As the Disney adult population grows larger, the opportunity for research increases. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) plays a fundamental role in monitoring time-dependent ground displacement. However, GNSS daily position time-series can often contain significant outliers, reaching up to several centimetres. These are likely of non-tectonic origin, and, if not properly accounted for, they can significantly impact the accuracy and dependability of the estimation of key parameters for geophysical analyses, such as long-term velocities and transient deformations. Characterizing these outliers can provide information about their possible sources and help us implement mitigation strategies. Wearable dry electrodes facilitate continuous long-term electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, which is beneficial for the early diagnosis and management of heart disease. However, existing dry electrode technologies face limitations in maintaining clinically acceptable signal quality during movement, restricting their usability when patients are active. This is particularly critical for cardiac patients—such as those with arrhythmias or heart failure—who benefit from continuous monitoring during daily activities, exercise, or rehabilitation, where motion artefacts often obscure clinically relevant ECG features. Objective: This study aims to analyze dinicopathological and radiographic predictors of recurrence inpatients with ameloblastoma treated at a national referral hospital in Indonesia.

Material and Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), a national referral center in Jakarta, Indonesia. A total of 163 patients with histopathologically confirmed ameloblastoma were treated between January 2014 and December 2024. Patients who did not undergo surgical treatment or had incomplete records were excluded from the analysis. Demographic and clinicopathological parameters were analyzed for their association with tumor recurrence using thechi-square test, Fisher's exact test, and binary logistic regression.

Objective: To summarize studies published in the Journal of Dentomaxillofacial Science Vol.10 No. 4(2025).

Methods: We conducted a qualitative synthesis using thematic analysis and categorized the articles into four areas: public health and epidemiology, biomaterials and regenerative science, clinical and surgical sciences, and rare pathologies.

Results: Public health studies mapped silver diammine fluoride research (659 studies), showing progression from laboratory evidence to policy implementation. One study linked authoritarian parenting (80%) to higher childhood caries severity (56.7%). Marine megafauna species are affected by a wide range of anthropogenic threats. To evaluate the risk of such threats, species’ vulnerability to each threat must first be determined. We build on the existing threats classification scheme and ranking system of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species by assessing the vulnerability of 256 marine megafauna species to 23 at-sea threats. The threats we considered included individual fishing gear types, climate-change-related subthreats not previously assessed, and threats associated with coastal impacts and maritime disturbances. Since 2013, there have been a total of 824 federal criminal cases involving threats against public officials nationwide. The trend has increased significantly in recent years. In 2025, there have been 133 federally charged threat cases, setting a new annual record and surpassing the previous high of 104 in 2024. This continuing upward trajectory reflects the combination of the increasing volume in threat activity across the nation and greater responsiveness of federal authorities attempting to address this particular type of criminal violation.

This study investigated the effectiveness of neurofeedback therapy in improving behavior, emotion regulation, and attention in a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Neurofeedback, a non-invasive technique that enables individuals to regulate their own brain activity, has shown promise in neurodevelopmental interventions, but evidence from intensive training in special education contexts remains limited. A single-case experimental design (A-B-A) was employed with one child diagnosed with ASD who received 36 neurofeedback sessions over three months.
