Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan

based on the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) approach through a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform as a means to enhance the professional competencies of Physical Education (PJOK) teachers in Malang City. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 30 PJOK teachers who participated in the online training through four core TGFU modules, supported by instructional videos, formative quizzes, and a post-test. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, observations, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results …

Connected And Confident: Empowering First-Generation Graduate Students, Joe Lizza

First-Generation Symposium

First-generation graduate students face distinct challenges navigating the academic, social, and professional demands of advanced education. Drawing on first-hand research at Rowan University and a review of existing literature, this work identified key needs and experiences that inspired the creation of a recognition and support initiative for these students. This interactive session will share insights from the initiative’s findings and highlight Rowan’s efforts to foster inclusion, connection, and engagement among first-generation graduate students. It will also feature innovative practices from peer institutions to provide a broader view of effective, scalable strategies. By examining both targeted supports and community-wide approaches, this …

Father Of The Bride: Vindicating Deanda’S Claim Against 42 C.F.R. § 59.10(B), Matthew S. Mcguire Feb 2026

Father Of The Bride: Vindicating Deanda’S Claim Against 42 C.F.R. § 59.10(B), Matthew S. Mcguire

Helms School of Government Undergraduate Law Review

Across the judicial landscape of U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, no state shall deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law or at the prerogative of Congress and HHS. Veiled behind the complexity of administrative law, 42 C.F.R. § 59.10(b) precludes parental consent notifications for all Title X services for all parents. In 2020, the HHS Final Rule came to light after the District Court for the Northern District of Texas vacated the directive. Although the 5th Circuit affirmed and reversed in part, HHS does not enforce § 59.10(b) in Texas. For the rest of …

Fi-Fractured Policy: Problematic Preemption Provisions Under The Epa’S Fifra, Eric Mathemeier

Helms School of Government Undergraduate Law Review

The American people have long believed that nutrition is the main factor they should consider when purchasing produce. However, Americans are starting to worry that pesticides are infiltrating their food, namely their fruits and vegetables, and they would not be incorrect. Across many studies, surveys consistently find that 60% of Americans believe pesticides are bad for their health and have admitted to refraining from buying produce due to pesticide labeling. Only one in four Americans trusts the federal government with the responsibility of trustworthy and safe pesticide use.

Because of this, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has worked …

Bridging Biology And Biomaterials: In Silico Discovery Of Bioactive Surface Molecules To Enhance Osseointegration, Samuel Thomas, Akash Patel, Shilpa Bhandi, Frank W. Licari, Shankargouda Patil

Annual Research Symposium

This study presents a biologically guided strategy to enhance dental implant osseointegration by integrating peri-implant transcriptomic analysis with molecular docking simulations to identify bioactive surface molecules that may promote osteoblast attachment, extracellular matrix formation, and early bone healing. By aligning implant surface chemistry with host tissue biology, this translational in silico workflow offers a rapid, cost-effective pathway toward next-generation bioactive coatings designed to improve healing, strengthen bone–implant integration, and support long-term clinical success.
