In the beginning was a word—then over time, a whole civilization was built on words. Speaking, thinking, and writing have always been inherent aspects of the human experience. Until now. Artificial intelligence machines have hi-jacked words. Through focused training on our words and knowledge, they too can now write, create, and express themselves just like we do. This, then, presents a profound constitutional question flagged by Justice Barrett in Moody v. NetChoice: if the U.S. Constitution protects human expression, does it also protect AI outputs?

"Equitable Takings" And The Limits To Their Normative Foundations, Dylan Oliver Malagrino

This article constructs the concept of “equitable takings”—a new term of art to describe judicially crafted doctrines or decisions that result in a de facto redistribution of property interests without formal legislative authorization or compensation. It argues that the normative foundations of these equitable takings are insufficient to justify their growing influence in property law. This article examines key judicial decisions, surveys scholarly perspectives, and offers a critical evaluation of the principles that courts invoke to justify these takings. It ultimately contends that these equitable takings risk undermining both the rule of law and the stability of property doctrine. Equitable …

Debate over imposing term limits on U.S. Supreme Court Justices has intensified in recent years, with proposals emphasizing potential benefits for judicial independence, ideological balance, and the confirmation process. Yet, much of the scholarly and political discourse has overlooked a significant and underexamined consequence: the post-judicial careers of justices whose service ends well before traditional retirement age. This Article addresses that gap by analyzing the strong likelihood—based on historical patterns from other courts without life tenure—that former Justices would reenter the legal profession, particularly in highly compensated private practice roles. Data transfer between applications often requires manual entry when source content is contained within images or non-selectable document formats. Manually populating multiple form fields by switching between applications is inefficient and increases the likelihood of input errors. Existing selection tools are generally limited to single-item lookups or basic text copying, which fails to capture structured relationships between data points.

Thin-walled steel circular hollow sections (CHS) with concrete infill have been widely investigated in previous research. The aim of this study is to investigate the behavior of axially loaded thin-walled CHS tubes filled with lightweight concrete, with the goal of achieving the lightest possible column weight while providing optimal axial capacity. Three concrete mixes incorporating Expanded Poly-Styrene (EPS) aggregates instead of conventional gravel were used. The dry densities of the mixes were 1000, 1100, and 1400 kg/m$^3$, and their compressive strengths were 3.8, 6.3, and 13 MPa, respectively. Like BMECs, multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) originate from the mesodermal lineage. Thus, MSCs may serve as a direct and efficient cellular source for BMEC-like differentiation. Notably, differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) into BMECs typically involves a 2-step protocol: inducing mesodermal commitment followed by endothelial specification. In contrast, direct differentiation from MSCs could bypass the initial mesodermal induction step, offering a streamlined alternative.
