However, there are few studies examining individualism-collectivism and gender egalitarianism as moderators. In bottomland hardwood forests, large fluctuations in moisture availability can lead to stress from both flooded and drought conditions. These forests can have a complex species composition with different water use and drought strategies. The bottomlands in which these species co-occur can have a complex spatial distribution of alluvial sediments due to the meandering and migration of river or stream channels, which may impact the hydrology, nutrient dynamics, and productivity. Improper manual material handling (MMH) techniques are shown to lead to low back pain, the most common work-related musculoskeletal disorder. Due to the complex nature and variability of MMH and obtrusiveness and subjectiveness of existing hazard analysis methods, providing systematic, continuous, and automated risk assessment is challenging. We present a machine learning algorithm to detect and classify MMH tasks using minimally-intrusive instrumented insoles and chest-mounted accelerometers. Six participants performed standing, walking, lifting/lowering, carrying, side-to-side load transferring (i.e., 5.7 kg and 12.5 kg), and pushing/pulling. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) guidelines are multimodal perioperative care

pathways based on evidence-based practice to promote faster recovery after surgical procedures.

For cardiac surgery ERAS, one intervention that is strongly recommended based on high levels

of evidence is the use of antifibrinolytic medications, such as Tranexamic acid (TXA) and

epsilon aminocaproic acid (EACA) which are synthetic antifibrinolytics and analogs of lysine,

both known for exerting procoagulant effects by competitively inhibiting activation of

plasminogen to plasmin. Antifibrinolytic medications have been shown to decrease blood loss as

well as the need for blood transfusions and reoperation.

Packages such as SciPy in Python and caret in R provide fundamental tools for statistical modeling and machine learning in the two most popular programming languages used by data scientists. Until recently, there has been limited data reported in the literature with respect to CYP3A activity and its expression in the brain tissue. The reason for this limitation is most likely the relatively low level of CYP3A in the brain tissue. CSU's first OhioLINK Luminaries student was Thyra Chaney, a fourth year Film and Media Arts major with minors in Classical Studies and International Film. Ms. Chaney developed programming and worked on an array of projects within instruction, collections, data management, and e-resources that explore representation of diverse groups among materials at the Michael Schwartz Library. This presentation is about her Luminaries experience and it was given to the Michael Schwartz Library staff during finals week. She graduated from CSU in May 2022.

This study investigated the variables that might impact primary school in-school suspension (ISS) and out-of-school suspension (OSS) in a rural state in the southern region of the United States. Data for the present study were collected from the state’s Department of Education’s discipline database. Data was analyzed across three school years using separate multilevel growth modeling approaches: one with ISS rate as the dependent variable and another with OSS rate as the dependent variable. This paper investigates the influence of carbon nanotube (CNT) and graphite nanoplatelet (GNP) on the microstructure and mechanical characteristics of UHPC with steel fiber alignment. The content of CNT and GNP ranged from 0 to 0.3%, by mass of binder. Predominant fiber alignment was manipulated using a flow-induced casting method during UHPC placement. Experiment results indicated that the increase of CNT and GNP content from 0 to 0.3% led to 15%, 40%, and 50% improvement in compressive strength, flexural strength, and T150 (dissipated energy) of UHPC, respectively. Emergency endotracheal intubations occurring outside of the Operating Room (OR) are often performed by non-anesthesia providers. At a large, urban, level one trauma center, the current airway management policy for these non-anesthesia providers does not follow best practices based on the literature. Specifically, some non-anesthesia providers are not credentialed and/or privileged to administer neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) during emergency endotracheal intubations. School psychologists are well positioned to be involved in crisis response at their schools, but little is known about how prepared they are to respond or how accurately they would respond to various crisis events. This project examined school psychologists’ rated levels of preparedness and experience, and how well or accurately they responded to hypothetical crisis vignettes across small-, moderate-, and large-scale events. Results showed that self-rated preparedness and experience were not related to accuracy of response, as measured by a rubric.
