The foundational tonic in Indian classical music presents a crucial element for algorithmic understanding. This research investigates the efficacy of modern machine learning techniques for detecting this fine-grained musical attribute from diverse audio representations. Addressing limitations in prior work that used spe-cialized techniques, this study pioneers the integration of audio representations with non-linear dimensionality reduction and machine learning classifiers for tonic classification. The methodology employs various machine learning algorithms on music represented by audio features such as Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients and Mel spectrograms. Ten years following a marine heatwave event, whale entanglements continue to challenge ecosystem-based fishery and protected species management in the California Current Large Marine Ecosystem (CCLME). Although new fishing regulations combined with environmental changes resulted in a decline in humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) entanglements from the peak during a prolonged heatwave, reports continue at a higher rate than prior to 2014. The entanglement record is imperfect because many entanglements go unobserved and those that are observed may not correspond to where the entanglement occurred. Advancements in cost-effective and efficient alternative energy sources are critical for socioeconomic development. In this study, Iron-based metal–organic framework (Fe-MOF) electrocatalyst was fabricated using an Fe salt and ligand. Several surface characterization methods, including Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD), were used to characterize the electrocatalyst. Additionally, using Chronoamperometry (CA), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV), and Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), the electrocatalytic behaviour in a cathodic reaction in PEMFCs is investigated. Abelson-1 (ABL-1) is a nonreceptor tyrosine kinase that plays essential roles in various cellular processes, including proliferation, survival, differentiation and its kinase activity is tightly regulated. Comparative Computational Study Of Sulfur-Donor Additives For Stabilization Of Fapbi3 Perovskites, Ilnar Nurgaliev, Akbarxon Hamzayev, Murad Marasulov, Zavkiddin Julliev, Akhmad Oblakulov, Nigmat Ashurov

A multiscale computational investigation integrating density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations was conducted to elucidate the mechanisms through which sulfur-containing donor molecules stabilize the photoactive α-phase of formamidinium lead iodide (FAPbI3) perovskites. The binding energetics, charge-transfer behavior, and hydrogen-bonding interactions of thiourea (TU), thiosemicarbazide (TSC), thiocyanate (SCN–), and diethyldithiocarbamate (DTC) were systematically analyzed. DFT results revealed pronounced Pb–S coordination and multidentate hydrogenbonding, with binding energies following the trend SCN–>TSC>DTC>TU. CaMoO4:Eu3+-functionalized hydroxyapatite–silica (HAp–SiO2–CaMoO4:Eu3+) core–shell nanocomposites were synthesized for the first time and evaluated as a multifunctional drug delivery and imaging platform. HAp–SiO2 nanocomposites were prepared via a hydrothermal route and subsequently functionalized with a luminescent CaMoO4:Eu3+ shell using the Pechini sol–gel method. Structural analyses confirmed the successful coexistence of HAp, SiO2, and CaMoO4:Eu3+ phases, while electron microscopy revealed spherical core–shell morphologies. Dynamic light scattering measurements showed average hydrodynamic particle sizes of approximately 1085 nm for HAp–SiO2 and 1427 nm for HAp–SiO2–CaMoO4:Eu3+ nanocomposites, indicating particle clustering in aqueous media, which is consistent with the low surface charge of the particles. When Venture Capitalists Clash: Exploring The Impact Of Ownership And Status Mismatch On New Venture Growth, Li Wang, Zhu Zhu, Sunny Li Sun

This study investigates the impact of power source mismatch of venture capital syndication on the growth performance of new ventures, considering their corporate governance and institutional environment. Using data from listed companies in the small and medium enterprises market in China, we find that ownership-dominated power source mismatch in venture capital syndication enhances new venture growth performance, while status-dominated power source mismatch has the opposite effect. The integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into Supply Chain Management (SCM) has accelerated rapidly. However, limited understanding exists on how GenAI-enabled capabilities should be prioritised to create sustained value. Existing research predominantly describes applications but overlooks the hierarchical structure of underlying capabilities required for effective adoption. In response, this study develops a capability-oriented framework grounded in the Task Technology Fit (TTF) perspective. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of visually impaired professionals (VIPs) as they navigate workplace inclusion, identity, and systemic accessibility. Drawing on Giorgi’s descriptive phenomenological psychological method, the study analyzed in-depth interviews with eleven purposefully selected participants across diverse professions. The research aimed to address a gap in disability studies by centering on the psychological meanings embedded in the narratives of VIPs; voices that are often underrepresented in organizational research. There is a large body of research examining women’s fertility decision-making. Yet this work rarely considers how women’s experiences with reproductive health conditions may be linked to their fertility goals, a problematic oversight given the growing emphases on reproductive careers and childbearing biographies that highlight the need to take a life course approach to fertility. Using the 2015–2019 National Survey of Family Growth (N = 8867), this paper examines how reproductive health conditions are associated with women’s fertility goals among women who are not surgically sterile or meet the medical definition of infertility. Cook Inlet has been the primary source of natural gas for Southcentral Alaska for more than half a century, but while substantial gas remains in the subsurface, the portion that is physically, technically, economically, and socially available at prevailing prices is considerably smaller. This report evaluates regional availability using a four-dimensional resource framework, reconciles competing estimates of remaining reserves and resources, and considers implications for future supply security, with particular emphasis on economic availability and the prices required to make extraction profitable. Depression is a prevalent mental health condition that significantly affects patient quality of life and healthcare utilization. Clinical guidelines recommend routine depression screening in adults when appropriate systems for follow-up and treatment are in place. The Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) is a validated instrument used to identify depressive symptoms and assess severity in outpatient settings. Background: Risk factors for severe respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) illness include early infancy, premature birth, and underlying medical conditions. However, the clinical significance of respiratory viral co-detection is unclear. We compared the clinical outcomes of young children with RSV-only detection and those with RSV viral co-detection.

Methods: We conducted active, population-based surveillance of children with medically attended fever or respiratory symptoms at 7 US medical centers (1 December 2016-31 March 2020). Demographic and clinical data were collected through parental interviews and chart abstractions.
