Fixed Point Results Under New Contractive Conditions On Closed Balls, Mustafa Mudhesh, Hasanen. A. Hammad, Eskandar Ameer, Amjad Ali

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

The goal of this manuscript is to present a new contractive mapping, namely a C ́iric ́-type rational (α∗,η∗,Λ,Υ)-multi- valued contraction mapping. In the framework of ordinary metric spaces, several fixed point results for semi α∗-admissible multi- valued contraction mappings with respect to η are also given. In addition, we have an example to back up our research. Finally, several fixed point results with a graph were discussed to improve the effectiveness of our contraction. In the same way, our findings expand, generalize and unify a large number of solid articles in the same direction.

Application Of Lerch Polynomials To Approximate Solution Of Singular Fredholm Integral Equations With Cauchy Kernelapplication Of Lerch Polynomials To Approximate Solution Of Singular Fredholm Integral Equations With Cauchy Kernel, Doaa Shokry Mohamed

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In this paper, we develop an effective method based on Lerch polynomials to provide an approximate solution of various cases of Cauchy type singular integral equations. The method reduces the solution of given singular integral equation to the solution of a matrix equation corresponding to linear system of algebraic equations with unknown Lerch coefficients. Error estimation of the presented method is mentioned. Finally, several examples show the reliability and efficiently of the proposed method.

Some Properties Of Odd Neighbor In Dc Dominating Sets, Haneen H. Aljanaby, Ahmed A. Omran

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In this work, the study will continue of odd neighbor in Dc domination in graphs. The bounded of this number in general is determined. Also, the bound of this number in the graph which have at least three vertices of degree the order of the graph mines two is calculated. Moreover, compute this number for complement of tree is discussed. Finally, When is this number equal to one? in a graph and complement of a graph are been presented.

Bayesian Inference Based On Pooled Sample From Two Independent Samples Of Record Values, A. R. Shafay Jul 2022

Bayesian Inference Based On Pooled Sample From Two Independent Samples Of Record Values, A. R. Shafay

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Instead of discussing the problem of estimating the unknown parameters for every underlying distribution separately, this paper develops a general procedure for estimating the unknown parameters based on an ordered pooled sample from two independent sequences of record values using a general exponential form for the underlying distributions. Maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods are used to estimate the unknown parameters. Bayesian estimation is discussed using three different loss functions. The problem of predicting record values from a future sample is also discussed. In addition, the results of the exponential and Pareto distributions are shown as examples. Furthermore, a Monte Carlo …

The Cordiality For The Join Of Pairs Of The Third Power Of Paths, E. A. Elsakhawy Jul 2022

The Cordiality For The Join Of Pairs Of The Third Power Of Paths, E. A. Elsakhawy

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

A graph is said to be cordial if it has a 0−1 labeling that satisfies certain properties. The third power of path P3, is the graph n obtained from the path Pn by adding edges that join all vertices and with d ≤ 3. In this paper, we show that Pn3 is cordial if and only if n ̸= 4. Moreover, we study the cordiality for the sum of pairs of the third power of paths. Keywords:

Statistical Approach To Nonlinear Schro ̈ Dinger Equation. Quantum Case, Mukhayo Yunusovna Rasulova

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

A new method is proposed to obtain nonlinear Schr¨odinger equations by the chain of Bogoliubov–Born–Green–Kirkwood–Yvon (BBGKY) quantum kinetic equations. In that sense, we investigate the dynamics of a quantum system including an infinite number of identical particles which interact via a (special) pair potential in the form of Dirac delta-function

On Categorical Property Of Fuzzy Soft Topological Spaces, S. Saleh, Radwan Abu-Gdairi, Tareq M. Al-Shami, Mohammed S. Abdo

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

The main aim of this work is to provide a categorical framework for fuzzy soft topological spaces FST. We define some of their subcategories such as Top, STop, δτ-FST, χ􏰀-FST, and α􏰀-FST. In general, we initiate some functors between them and discuss some results and relations of fuzzy soft maps. The relationships between FST and their subcategories are studied, for instance, we show that Top, STop are bireflective full subcategories of FST and α􏰀-FSTis a bicoreflective full subcategory of FST. Moreover, we demonstrate that Top, δτ -FST, and χ􏰀-FST are isomorphic.

Chain Based Leader Selection Using Neural Network In Wireless Sensor Networks Protocols, Hamdy H El-Sayed, Shereen K. Refaay, Samia A. Ali, Moumen T. El-Melegy

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

The selection of a chain leader is an important issue in wireless sensor networks (WSN). In this paper, we introduce a new method to select chain leaders in chain-based routing protocol using Neural Network (NN). Our proposed method can be applied to any chain based routing protocol such as PEGASIS (Power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor Information Systems), CBERP (Cluster Based Energy Efficient Routing Protocol), CCM (Chain-Cluster Based Mixed Routing Protocol), CCBRP (Chain-Chain Based Routing Protocol), etc. To approve our claim that our idea can be applied to any chain-based routing protocol we have applied our method to two of the most …

Older Adult Healthcare Utilization Patterns And Receptiveness Towards Healthier Sg Initiative, Micah Tan, Grace Cheong, Wensi Lim, Paulin T. Straughan

ROSA Research Briefs

The Healthier SG (HSG) initiative was launched by Health Minister Ong Ye Kung in March 2022. HSG marks a distinct departure from existing healthcare models as under this new initiative, greater emphasis is placed on preventive healthcare rather than reactive treatments. This shift in approach is envisioned to have a significant influence on the healthcare system in Singapore – for instance, by focusing on “health care” rather than on “sick care” it is hoped by some that this new model will discourage the ‘over-service’ of patients by doctors in Singapore (Lim, 2022). An integral component of the HSG initiative is …

Veterans. They Serve, They Get Out, Now What?, Bre Adams

IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects

My name is Bre Carden and i have been in the United States Air Force for 11 years. I myself, along with ma other Veterans have worked years under the command and guidance of our military. I have noticed when their service to our country is up, our veterans are put into civilian life to take on a new chapter with no clue how or where to start and build their new lives. This leads to homelessness, depression, mental health, anger, and more. With a program in place for Veterans and their families to transition from military living, to civilian …

Challenging Predictions Of Inflationary Models With Cmb Data, Richik Bhattacharya, Atanu Debnath, Esha Sajjanhar, Shravani Sardeshpande, Pablo Tenorio Hernández, José Ricardo Torres Heredia

2022 REYES Proceedings

Cosmic inflation offers the best known explanations for many of the observed features of the Universe, such as its flatness. An imprint of the qualities of this mechanism is left in the cosmic microwave background (CMB), which can be instrumental to confirm inflation. Unfortunately, there is a plethora of inflationary models, which are a priori in the same footing. It is conceivable that contrasting the predictions of the various models with the measured values of the parameters of CMB data and other cosmological observables shall allow one to single out the successful theory of inflation. In this work we provide …

Compositional And Functional Changes In Microbial Communities Of Composts Due To The Composting-Related Factors And The Presence Of Listeria Monocytogenes, Hongye Wang, Vijay Shankar, Xiuping Jiang

Open Access Publishing Fund

Listeria monocytogenes is a leading foodborne pathogen that can contaminate fresh produce in farm environment, resulting in deadly outbreaks. Composts contain a diversity of microorganisms, and some of them may be compost-adapted competitive exclusion microorganisms against L. monocytogenes. To understand interactions between compost microflora and the pathogen, both dairy- and poultry-wastes based composts (n = 12) were inoculated with L. monocytogenes, and then analyzed by next-generation sequencing approaches along with culturing methods. DNA extraction and enumeration of L. monocytogenes were performed at 0 and 72 h post-incubation at room temperature. The major bacterial phyla were identified as Firmicutes (23%), Proteobacteria …

Sdq: Stochastic Differentiable Quantization With Mixed Precision, Xijie Huang, Zhiqiang Shen, Shichao Li, Zechun Liu, Xianghong Hu, Jeffry Wicaksana, Eric Xing, Kwang Ting Cheng

Machine Learning Faculty Publications

In order to deploy deep models in a computationally efficient manner, model quantization approaches have been frequently used. In addition, as new hardware that supports mixed bitwidth arithmetic operations, recent research on mixed precision quantization (MPQ) begins to fully leverage the capacity of representation by searching optimized bitwidths for different layers and modules in a network. However, previous studies mainly search the MPQ strategy in a costly scheme using reinforcement learning, neural architecture search, etc., or simply utilize partial prior knowledge for bitwidth assignment, which might be biased on locality of information and is sub-optimal. In this work, we present …
