The study aims to identify teacher’s performance is influenced by the principal's academic supervision, work motivation, facilities and infrastructure. The type of this study is quantitative research with correlational descriptive. The sample involved are 150 teachers from 3 different schools which tested by multiple regression. The result from analysis shows that the headmasters’ academic supervision, working motivation and the facilities with infrastructure had positive effect on the teachers’ performance, either partially or simultaneously.

The University of Central Florida's Institute for Social and Behavioral Science (ISBS) partnered with the Orange County Drug-Free Office to undertake a gap analysis focused on substance use disorder treatment. Specifically, we designed a study to determine the capacity of treatment options, identify barriers to seeking treatment, and illuminate what works particularly well. The gap analysis results can guide future decisions on allocating resources best to ensure that treatment is accessible to all in need.

Container cargo shipping service returned to the Port of Portland in Oregon in January 2020 with the regular weekly SM Line service, following more than three years of no container shipping service. Following the global supply chain changes associated with COVID -19, the number of monthly vessel calls at the Port of Portland’s deep-water berth at Terminal 6 has increased regularly to 12 vessel calls in January of 2022. In March of 2022, the largest containership to transit the Columbia river – at 1,100 feet length with capacity of 8,200 containers – arrived at the Port of Portland.

Canonical RNA processing in mammalian mitochondria is defined by tRNAs acting as recognition sites for nucleases to release flanking transcripts. The relevant factors, their structures, and mechanism are well described, but not all mitochondrial transcripts are punctuated by tRNAs, and their mode of processing has remained unsolved. Using Drosophila and mouse models, we demonstrate that non-canonical processing results in the formation of 3' phosphates, and that phosphatase activity by the carbon catabolite repressor 4 domain-containing family member ANGEL2 is required for their hydrolysis. Furthermore, our data suggest that members of the FAST kinase domain-containing protein family are responsible for these …

The study aims to explore the relationship between cultural intelligence and depression, and the role of expatriation as a moderator variable between them. The study also tries to detect the differences among expatriate and non-expatriate students in both cultural intelligence and its dimensions and depression along with verifying the relationship between residence duration in expatriation and cultural intelligence and its dimensions among expatriate students. Green Infrastructure (GI) is a potential tool to help cities adapt to climate change. In particular, GI can help moderate high summer temperatures and reduce urban flooding, both of which are expected to become more common with on-going climate change. However, GI is not evenly distributed in many cities suggesting that some neighborhoods are more vulnerable to climate change impacts. Peripheral artery disease (PAD) manifests from atherosclerosis, which limits blood flow to the legs and causes changes in muscle structure and function, and in gait performance. PAD is underdiagnosed, which delays treatment and worsens clinical outcomes. To overcome this challenge, the purpose of this study is to develop machine learning (ML) models that distinguish individuals with and without PAD. This is the first step to using ML to identify those with PAD risk early. Traffic congestion is a common phenomenon in all capital cities. This study aims to examine the willingness of Malaysians and Filipinos to use public transport and the factors that influence their willingness to use public transport in Kuala Lumpur and Manila. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 250 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. PLS-SEM analysis shows that efficiency is essential for Malaysians while Filipino transport users pay more importance to reliability. It is crucial that a holistic perspective heeding environmental, social and governance (ESG) in transportation can assist the government in conserving the environment in line with SDG 11

The teleworkability of jobs – whether they can and will be performed remotely – has been increasingly contested in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. To explain which jobs are teleworkable and why, we emphasize the institutional context of a job, including differences among firms, union representation, professional licensing requirements, sector, and employment models. Using a novel dataset of job characteristics extracted from the text of a large sample of online job advertisements from 2010-2021, we examine various explanations for change in the availability of remote job opportunities.
