Introduction: The transition from academic education to clinical practice is a critical challenge for new occupational therapy (OT) graduates. While most Western countries have adopted master's or doctoral entry-level into the profession, bachelor's-level OT training remains the mainstream in Asia. This raises questions about whether such programs adequately prepare graduates for today's complex clinical environments. This study examined the preparedness of OT graduates under bachelor-level training by exploring the alignment between educational experiences and workplace expectations from the perspectives of multiple stakeholders.

Background: To align Taiwan's physical therapy clinical education with international standards, this study aimed to: (1) map Taiwan's clinical assessment tools—the Ability-Based Professionalism Assessment (ABPA) and the Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX)—to the competency domains of the United States (U.S.) Clinical Performance Instrument (CPI) 3.0; (2) examine longitudinal changes in student clinical performance; and (3) explore whether developmental patterns correspond to competencies emphasized by the assessment framework.

Photonic systems with exceptional points, where eigenvalues and corresponding eigenstates coalesce, have attracted interest due to their topological features and enhanced sensitivity to external perturbations. Non-Hermitian mode-coupling matrices provide a tractable analytic framework to model gain, loss, and chirality across optical, electronic, and mechanical platforms without the complexity of full open-system dynamics. Exceptional points define their spectral topology, and enable applications in mode control, amplification, and sensing. The problem studied in this paper is related to the f-harmonicity with potential of a vector field from a Riemannian to its tangent bundle TM equipped with the Sasaki metric. We show that an f-harmonic vector field with potential is parallel if and only if f is constant function. We also characterize the f-harmonic vector fields with potential on some three Riemannian Lie groups.

The Ahlfors-Beurling transform is one of the important operators in complex analysis. This transform plays a crucial role in applications to the theory of quasiconformal mappings and to the Beltrami equation with discontinuous coefficients. The AhlforsBeurling transform has been studied on classical Lebesgue, Morrey, Sobolev, Besov, etc. spaces. However, its discrete version has not been well studied. In this paper, we prove that the discrete Ahlfors-Beurling transform is the bounded operator in discrete weighted Lebesgue spaces.

In the paper we study a mixed problem for an antiparabolic equation. Applying the finite integral transformation to the solution of the mixed problem under consideration, we obtain an appropriate spectral problem. Under certain conditions we study the spectral problem and establish some expansion formulas. Applying the inverse integral transformation, we obtain the analytic representation of the mixed problem under consideration.

Digital financial innovation has expanded globally, supporting cashless systems and reducing currency outside banks and inflation in advanced economies. In Nigeria, however, rising use of digital payment platforms has coincided with increasing inflation and higher cash in circulation. This study explores the relationship among digital financial innovation, currency outside the banking system, and inflation from 2009 to 2024, while assessing implications for exchange rate management. Findings show that despite rapid digital payment growth, both inflation and cash outside banks remain elevated, creating challenges for effective exchange rate stability. Financial inclusion (FI) encourages economic empowerment and growth while also serving as a catalytical factor in achieving seven of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals. Attainment of these and other benefits of FI is largely dependent and influenced by various factors and determinants. Analysing sample data of 26,930 responses from the Access to Financial Services in Nigeria (A2F) 2023 survey, this study examined the factors influencing FI using the Multiple Logistic Regression model. This paper analyses intergovernmental fiscal relations in Nigeria using Barry Weingast’s theory of market-preserving federalism. It argues that excessive fiscal centralisation, weak subnational autonomy, and recurring disputes over revenue allocation, such as those involving value-added tax and oil derivation, undermine inclusive economic development. Using qualitative analysis of policy documents, legal frameworks, and audit reports, the study finds that embedding digital governance within a market-preserving federal framework could enhance subnational revenue generation, fiscal transparency, and competitive horizontal federalism.

This study estimated the impact of Tax revenues (such as, corporate income tax, capital-income tax, VAT, and petroleum-income tax) on manufacturing sector output in Nigeria. It utilized Dynamic Ordinary Least Square (DOLS) that allows individual linear combination of variables, correct endogeneity and serial correlation issues. The study covered the period of 2011 and 2023 using quarterly dataset. Findings reveal that a 10 percent reduction in VAT and petroleum-profit tax revenues improves manufacturing sector output by about 6.58 and 0.78 percent in the short-run and, 2.08 and 5.12 percent in the long-run, respectively. The low-temperature dependence of the DC dielectric breakdown strength (EBD) and the energy storage density (W) of capacitors, fabricated from high purity polycrystalline strontium titanate, were investigated in the temperature range from 295 K to 77 K. Test samples were constructed with a process similar to that used for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). The permittivity, loss tangent, leakage current, and breakdown strength were measured as a function of temperature and voltage. Weibull statistical analysis was used to quantify breakdown distributions. Despite electric-field suppression of permittivity, breakdown strength increased significantly with decreasing temperatures, leading to enhanced energy density. The breakdown field …

In 2014, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) invested in the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) initiative to enhance diversity in the biomedical research workforce. As one of ten grantees nationwide, the BUILD EXITO project at Portland State University established an institutionally and geographically diverse consortium including local community colleges, a research-intensive medical institution, and universities and community colleges around the Pacific Rim. The goal of this collaboration was to support comprehensive research training for undergraduates from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the biomedical workforce. This Note examines the collapse of Chevron deference and its profound implications for federal tax law, where complexity and ambiguity are the rule rather than the exception. For decades, Chevron allowed courts to defer to the Internal Revenue Service’s reasonable interpretations of ambiguous statutes, promoting uniformity, predictability, and administrability across the tax system. In Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, the U.S. Supreme Court dismantled that framework, shifting interpretive authority decisively to the judiciary. This Note argues that the loss of Chevron destabilizes tax administration by inviting inconsistent judicial interpretations, increasing taxpayer challenges, and undermining reliance on agency guidance. This Note examines how current regulatory policies and practices of Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) have led to increased prescription drug costs and diminished patient access to medications. Notably, Schmidtknecht v. OptumRx Inc. illustrates the real-world consequences of current PBM regulation, which allows them to increase medication prices without warning by controlling which pharmacies and insurance plans will cover certain prescription drugs. This qualitative study examined how school-based professional development reflection programs influence teachers’ empathy across cultural differences within an independent school context. Grounded in Multicultural Theory and scholarship on empathy, the study explored how structured, sustained reflective practices shape educators’ understanding, relational engagement, and collective organizational culture. The problem of practice addressed in this study was the need for independent school leaders to cultivate culturally responsive environments within limited time and resource constraints, while serving increasingly diverse school communities. Hyperspectral cameras capture hundreds of data points per sample (pixel), thereby providing numerous advantages in remote sensing tasks. Many tasks can be effectively conducted with such a camera mounted on a small uncrewed aerial system (sUAS). However, obtaining results traditionally requires significant post-processing of captured data after flight, delaying insight. To mitigate the delay, this work proposes Spacecube, a program that implements a complete interactive hyperspectral processing pipeline. Spacecube's novel inverse georectification algorithm processes entire datasets in seconds, compared to hours for traditional methods, and eliminates pixel coverage artifacts. This allows immediate high-quality viewing and adjustment of captured flight data. …
