Multiple regression is one of the most powerful analysis techniques available to hospitality and tourism researchers for complex problems that may include prediction, mediation, and moderation. The interpretation of the results requires a two-step hierarchical approach. The first step is to determine whether the researcher has findings worth interpreting and reporting and the second step is to determine the effect(s) origins. This study extended the theory of reasoned action (TRA) by including cruise involvement, safety protocols, and trust (stimulus-organism-response paradigm), and risk perception (the prospect theory), developing a theoretical framework to explore and compare Chinese repeat and potential guests' travel intentions, thus making great efforts to rebuilding consumer confidence and recover operation at this stage of the post-COVID-19. The results show that guests' intentions were positively influenced by their perceptions of safety protocols, trust, attitude, subjective norms, and cruise involvement, respectively. Background: While treatment of pancreatic cancer has advanced, survival rates remain low. Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT; high dose per fraction radiation) may exhibit improved clinical outcomes in locally advanced pancreatic cancer but carries potential gastrointestinal toxicity risks. Rucosopasem (GC4711) is one of a class of investigational selective dismutase mimetics that rapidly and specifically converts superoxide to hydrogen peroxide. Studies have shown that normal cells tolerate hydrogen peroxide fluxes better than cancer cells. As radiation response modifiers, dismutase mimetics have the potential to increase tumor control of SBRT without compromising radiation safety. In a pilot phase 1/2 trial in patients with …

SoFA is a young membership organization founded in 2016 promoting sociocracy, a governance system with consent-based decision-making in small groups, in nonprofits and other organizations.

We examine the H I gas kinematics of galaxy pairs in two clusters and a group using Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) WALLABY pilot survey observations. We compare the H I properties of galaxy pair candidates in the Hydra I and Norma clusters, and the NGC 4636 group, with those of non-paired control galaxies selected in the same fields. We perform H I profile decomposition of the sample galaxies using a tool, BAYGAUD, which allows us to deblend a line-of-sight velocity profile with an optimal number of Gaussian components. Since 2012, students and others have pushed U.S. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to divest their endowments from fossil fuel producing industries. In the past decade, fossil fuel divestment has become the fastest growing divestment movement in history, with over 140 U.S. HEIs announcing divestment commitments. We conduct a quantitative analysis of the three phases of U.S. 4-year HEI divestment announcements (as well as rejections of divestment) to better understand the dynamics. Announcements began (2012-2017) with a number of schools divesting, followed by a second phase where new divestment announcements slowed. Hospital readmissions have emerged as a key healthcare quality indicator since the passing of the Affordable Care Act in 2010. It is easier to predict the readmission risk of patients without complications, but comorbidities, such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, make it difficult to accurately assess the readmission risk. 30-days hospital readmissions (30DRA) risk models typically rely on demographic, socioeconomic, and medical variables from structured data, such as diagnosis, vitals, lab reports, and comorbidities, etc. Comorbidity indices help in assessing overall disease burden by accounting for the disease codes in electronic health records (EHRs). As consumers have been increasingly using grocery online ordering services to limit their exposure to the COVID-19 virus, participants of federal nutrition assistance programs lack the online benefit redemption option. With the support of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), retailers are pilot-testing online food benefit ordering in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
