The distribution of soil water and salt severely affects the ecological reconstruction and plant configuration modes at coal mine dumps. To investigate the characteristics of soil water and salt distribution under the three-layer reconstruction mode of “topsoil-aquifer-aquitard” in coal mine dump under the influence of mycorrhizal plants, laboratory soil column test was conducted, in which the soil was treated in three ways: planting maize and inoculating with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (YM+AMF), planting maize (YM) only, and no planting of maize + no inoculation with bacteria (CK). In order to resolve the issue of soil degradation in the dumping site of open-pit coal mine in arid area, the effects of actinomycetes on the root growth and rhizosphere soil fertility of onobrychis viciaefolia in the dumping site of Xinjiang Heishan Open-pit Coal Mine were investigated by highly efficient actinomycete inoculation and in-situ pot experiment. The results show that: (1) Under the drought conditions, actinomycetes inoculation could significantly promote the development of root morphology and the growth of onobrychis viciaefolia. The field of fingerprint examination within forensic science is vulnerable to error due to bias. The case that really highlighted this issue was the case of the Madrid bombing in 2004, where Brandon Mayfield was falsely convicted based on a false positive fingerprint identification. The 2009 NAS report questions the validity of the latent fingerprint examination field, pointing out the need for more objective criteria for comparisons and for studies on bias and error in this field. Background: Healthcare organizations have a dynamic work-environment that changes constantly. This study aimed to explore whether there is a relationship between work-environment uncertainty and nurses’ readiness to participate in organizational change.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at two tertiary hospitals. The sample size was 222 nurses. A self-report questionnaire was adopted, translated to Arabic, and used for collecting data; it consists of three scales, personal data sheet, organizational readiness for implementing change scale, and perceived environmental uncertainty in hospitals scale. Descriptive statistics t-test and analysis of variance were used to analyze the data.

Background: The unmet need for family planning in Indonesia has been stagnant since the early 2000s in the 10%–12% range with substantial socioeconomic and geographic disparities. This study sought to better understand the factors underlying the nonuse of contraceptives among women with an apparent need for family planning so that evidence-based corrective actions can be taken.

Background: Acetaminophen (APAP) is the most widely used analgesic drug worldwide, but it may induce renal toxicity. Betulinic acid (BA) ameliorates the oxidative stress and inflammatory response to renal damage. The present study aimed to investigate the potential protective effects of BA treatment through an experimental kidney damage rat model administered with APAP.

Background: Reportedly, there has been a long-standing nursing shortage in Saudi Arabia. This study explored the attitudes of undergraduate student nurses considering them to be a factor contributing to this shortage. This study also investigated the association among gender, hospital exposures, and campus enrollment concerning mental health education.

Methods: Quantitative correlational analysis was used on 124 student nurses in mental health nursing. Using Point Binary, Spearman's rank and one-way ANOVA, significant determinants were correlated to the domains of mental health nursing.

Background: Social media use has become an indispensable part of our lives as a result of technology advancement and is quite high among students.

Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design. Participants were 289 students from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Artvin Coruh University, Turkey. The Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS) was used to obtain data. T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and Bonferroni analysis were used to analyze the data.

The practice of wartime rape has occurred from the ancient times until the present with the United Nations reporting about 2,542 confirmed cases of conflict-related sexual violence in 2020. Estimates tend to be significantly higher, with UNICEF estimating 250,000 rape cases in Sierra Leone’s civil war. Women and girls are disproportionately and deliberately targeted compared to men and boys in sexual violence. This paper uses a postmodern feminist framework in analyzing wartime rape. It contends that the phallocentrism allows rape to become a language of masculine dominance.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5-TR) defines dissociation as “disruption in the usually integrated functions of consciousness, memory, identity or perception of the environment”11. Dissociation most commonly occurs after a traumatic experience and can take many forms; Subtypes include dissociative amnesia, absorption and imaginative involvement, passive influence, and depersonalization and derealization.
