Providing effective criminal protection for the consumer from the danger of misleading advertisements spread through social media has become an imperative necessity. It contains many legal problems, especially in light of the increasing spread of such advertisements simultaneously with the significant increase of e-commerce. In this paper, we demonstrate the adequacy of criminal protection for the consumer provided by the Bahraini Consumer Protection Law in the face of misleading and deceptive acts through commercial advertisements using social media, and the extent of consumer awareness of it.

Extended Maxwell–Chern–Simons Lagrangian Density In Riemann–Liouville Fractional Derivatives, Amer D. Al-Oqali

The Hamiltonian formulation for higher derivatives is reformulated using fractional derivatives. More precisely, the extended Maxwell–Chern–Simons Lagrangian density is reformulated using the Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative. The equations of motion resulting from the extended Maxwell–Chern–Simons Lagrangian density are obtained. Furthermore, the Hamiltonian of the system is constructed. When fractional derivatives are replaced by integer order derivatives, the classical results are obtained.

In this paper, Weibull-Linear Exponential distribution (WLED) has been investigated whether being it is a well - fit distribution to a clinical real data. These data represent the duration of remission achieved by a certain drug used in the treatment of leukemia for a group of patients. The statistical inference approach is used to estimate the parameters of the WLED through the set of the fitted data. The estimated parameters are utilized to evaluate the survival and hazard functions and hence assessing the treatment method through forecasting the duration of remission times of patients. The present study aimed to investigate the level of severity of some psychological symptoms resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic, among a sample of Ajman University students in the United Arab Emirates, and to verify the differences between students’ demographic variables. The study used the descriptive-analytical approach and a modified DASS-21 scale, by adding the two scales of phobia and mental distraction to the tool. The reliability of the tool was verified for use on the sample in the current study. This paper presents the impact of repair policies on the availability of a selector distribution unit (SDU) in a telecommunication system. Three repair policies are analyzed, One-Shot Repair Policy, Sequential Repair Policy, and Simultaneous Repair Policy. The availability of the SDU unit is measured using each of the investigated repair policies. Failure rates and average availability are used as primary performance indexes. The results show that the impact of repair policy is minimal when the number of faults is relatively low. Emotions play a role in our daily lives. As humans, we use emotions to encode, memorize, and later recall information. Emotions tend to make recall easier, since emotions can be easily associated with daily tasks and information. One task that incorporates encoding and emotion words is the emotional Stroop task. The purpose of the current study was to examine emotional Stroop task performance and state anxiety to study incidental learning effects. Visual statistical learning (VSL) allows humans to detect patterns from input and is a critical skill for information processing. Yet, the mechanisms behind VSL remain unclear. This pilot study (N=21) evaluated the relationship between VSL and cognitive-linguistic skills. All participants completed a brief assessment measuring their nonverbal and language abilities, and a VSL experiment. The experiment consisted of an exposure phase where 12 creatures were presented one at a time. A subset of creatures always occurred in temporal order while others never occurred in temporal order.
