Peran Notaris Pada Pembuatan Akta Jaminan Fidusia Dengan Objek Jaminan Berupa Hak Cipta, Abiandri Fikri Akbar
Peran Notaris Pada Pembuatan Akta Jaminan Fidusia Dengan Objek Jaminan Berupa Hak Cipta, Abiandri Fikri Akbar
Konsep Dan Bentuk Perlindungan Hak Penguasaan Atas Tanah Masyarakat Hukum Adat Di Indonesia (Studi Kasus Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Balige No. 42/Pdt.Plw/2016/Pn Blg), Ernila Erfa

When Crime Tears Communities Apart: Social Capital And Organised Crime, Francesca Maria Calamunci, Federico Fabio Frattini
When Crime Tears Communities Apart: Social Capital And Organised Crime, Francesca Maria Calamunci, Federico Fabio Frattini
Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei Working Papers
What is the long-term effect of organised crime presence on social capital accumulation? By leveraging novel social capital and organised crime data, this study investigates this question within the Italian landscape. In an instrumental variable (IV) setting, we exploit the forced resettlement law that compelled organised crime members living in the South of Italy to resettle in the Centre-North area. Using a granular measure of tax compliance as a proxy for civic awareness, we find evidence that sustained exposure to mafia presence depresses social capital accumulation. This finding applies to other dimensions of social capital, such as civic engagement and …

The Feminization Of Human Resources And How It Affects Women's Careers, Courtney Wegrzyn
The Feminization Of Human Resources And How It Affects Women's Careers, Courtney Wegrzyn
Honors Projects in Management
Over the past 50 years, women have advanced into managerial roles in the workplace at exponential rates (Beller, 1982; Scarborough, 2017). However, hiring and promotions based on societal norms and bias have often accentuated or hampered the balance of gender in certain industries (Gaucher et al., 2011; Tambe et al., 2019). The purpose of the present study is to research the differences in gender equality, perceptions, and representation in the often-feminized industry of Human Resources. This research outlines the historical progression of gender balance in the workplace and reviews societal pressures and cycles that lead to the manifestation of these …

This project outlines the role of OT in emerging practice in advocating for the development of a referral pathway specific for sexual activity and intimacy, and OT within an emerging setting.

Faculty Research 2023
The composition of the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) is considered a key determinant of patients' response to immunotherapy. The mechanisms underlying TIME formation and development over time are poorly understood. Glioblastoma (GBM) is a lethal primary brain cancer for which there are no curative treatments. GBMs are immunologically heterogeneous and impervious to checkpoint blockade immunotherapies. Utilizing clinically relevant genetic mouse models of GBM, we identified distinct immune landscapes associated with expression of EGFR wild-type and mutant EGFRvIII cancer driver mutations. Over time, accumulation of polymorphonuclear myeloid-derived suppressor cells (PMN-MDSC) was more pronounced in EGFRvIII-driven GBMs and was correlated with resistance …

Women’S Desire: A Journey From Pleasing To Sexual Fulfillment, Erin Eichinger
Women’S Desire: A Journey From Pleasing To Sexual Fulfillment, Erin Eichinger
Honors Program Theses and Projects
Women’s sexual desire, while being a common experience, is subjective and elusive in nature (Meana, 2010). Desire has typically been researched from a heteronormative standpoint which may inaccurately represent the nuanced ways in which women experience desire. Since women are socialized as selfless and nurturing ( Conley et al., 2011; Keifer & Sanchez, 2007), understanding their own desires and communicating those desires to partners may be complicated. This qualitative study used a feminist perspective to examine the ways in which women fulfill, communicate, and experience sexual desire. A research team recruited 21 self-identified women to participate in semi-structured interviews, using …
