The government of Tanzania is currently developing a Blue Economy (BE) policy for mainland Tanzania. However, it remains unclear how marine artisanal fisheries can contribute to, and support the implementation of, this emerging economic initiative. Drawing on in-depth key informant interviews, a review of relevant documents, and an analysis of nine years (2011—2019) fisheries data, this study examines the potential contribution of fish catch, revenue, and employment to the BE. The findings showed a significant (20.5%) increase in the number of fishing vessels between 2011 and 2019, together with a notable 52% rise in fish catches between 2018 and 2019. …

Trauma is a common condition that has a complex impact on an individual's life. This study aims to collect and analyze articles related to trauma care for psychological strengthening of adolescent survivors of sexual violence. The method used is a literature review. The author summarizes, makes a critical and in-depth analysis of previous literature. Let X and Y be closed G-manifolds and B⊂Y a closed invariant nonempty subset where G is a finite group. For any G-map f:X→Y and for every subgroup H≤G, we introduce a Nielsen type number N(f^H,B^H) which is a lower bound for the number of connected components of WH-orbits of (f^H)−1(B^H). This theory generalizes existing Nielsen type numbers for various G and B with an application to the Nielsen Borsuk–Ulam theory for the minimal number of coincidences of f(x)=fτ(x) where f:X→Y and τ a free involution on X.

Breathing-controlled electrical stimulation (BreEStim) is an innovative neuromodulation intervention that synchronizes deep voluntary breathing with peripheral electrical stimulation. Prior studies have shown its analgesic effects in healthy adults and spinal cord injury patients with neuropathic pain. The present study used EEG to examine BreEStim's neural effects on sensory, affective, and cognitive components of pain. Fourteen healthy participants (7 M, 7 F) completed 30 min of BreEStim and conventional electrical stimulation (EStim) interventions in a randomized, crossover within-subject design. This Capstone examined the impact of immigration-related trauma on the academic learning and social-emotional development of K–12 English as a Second Language students. Based on existing research and educational models, the Capstone explored how experiences such as displacement, cultural adjustment, and past adversity influenced students’ motivation, classroom participation, language acquisition, and emotional regulation. The findings continually highlighted the complex ways trauma could both hinder and shape learning, often resulting in challenges with engagement, trust, and self-advocacy in school environments. Background: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the attitudes of nurses working in clinical settings toward conducting physical examinations.

Methods: The sample surveyed consisted of 364 nurses currently working at 14 branches of a private hospital with facilities in seven cities, who participated voluntarily. Data was collected online via a survey created through Google Forms, applying descriptive characteristics form and the Physical Examination Attitude and Practice Scale in Nursing. The data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test, Kruskal–Wallis test, Spearman’s rank-order correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.

Tacit knowledge is implicit knowledge that plays a crucial role in experiential learning within information literacy communities, yet it is difficult to preserve due to its intangible nature. This study aims to identify transfer mechanisms, preservation strategies, and factors contributing to the vulnerability of tacit knowledge in volunteer-based communities. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA 2020 guidelines using the Scopus database. A total of 10 articles were analyzed through qualitative thematic synthesis. The research addresses a critical gap in policy-to-practice understanding, as current structured literacy requirements are primarily grounded in monolingual English frameworks that often overlook the instructional realities of bilingual classrooms. The study is theoretically anchored in Translanguaging Pedagogy, Sociocultural Theory, and Teacher Agency Theory.

Steel sheet piles are widely used in bridge abutments to retain backfill and mitigate scour; recent applications and case histories also suggest that sheet piles may contribute to axial load resistance for short-span or low-traffic bridges. Despite strong support in the literature, SDM remains inconsistently implemented in mental health settings due to limited provider training, time constraints, and organizational barriers.
