The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the infective and unreasonable standards of US hospital policy, funding, and staffing. During the initial wave of COVID-19 cases in 2020, medical supplies and standard medication prices increased, meanwhile hospital and governmental funding was allocated toward extra staffing and increased patient care spaces, leading to massive lapses in available resources for sick patients. Post-COVID-19, hospital staffing is down, and burnout rates are increasing. The pathway has a complex web of activators and inhibitors to activate mTORC1. mTORC1 is regulated via a small GTPase called Rheb, which interacts directly with mTORC1. GTPases are proteins that bind to guanine triphosphate (GTP) or guanine diphosphate (GDP). This study, via a literature review, presents an epidemiologic examination of the adverse effects of the mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. Research findings are compiled and compared to better understand the cardiovascular effects of the vaccine from a population level perspective. This article explored an original graduate-level teaching activity of gamification and ungrading through a feminist instructional design lens. We can understand outcomes of gamified equitable grading experiences by de-centering adult interpretations and habits of colonial educational structures–not only for the learners but as current and future leaders. These strategies were evaluated with student self-evaluations, feedback loops, and reflexivity through modeling and co-reflection. The outcomes and potential for replication of a gamified ungrading experience bring forward a humanized curriculum for all levels of learners and designers.
