This is a capstone research poster looking at college students' opinions on political parties in America. The research focuses on third parties and more particularly why they have failed in the past and what to expect as younger generations become increasingly involved in American politics. The research was conducted, via Qualtrics, by surveying Winona State University college students as a requirement of the Political Science and Public Administration program at Winona State University.

The present study is being conducted with the intention of identifying where, why, and what is transmitting a radio signal of 1419 MHz. This anomaly is intriguing because 1400-1427 MHz waves are protected. Because this is a protected wave, it was interesting that it was being transmitted on Winona State Campus which is where the team began research. To gain information, the research team cast the horn to the sky at an elevation of 37 degrees and in the directions of 344 , 213, 143, and 60 degrees bearing, respectively. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic drastically changed social interactions between people; this had a significant impact on individuals aged 65 and older. This demographic faced challenges such as total isolation, interrupted social connectedness, limited access to their basic needs, and financial stressors due to the shutdown. This review of the literature looks at how the decrease in face-to-face interactions during COVID-19affected the mental and emotional well-being of older adults during the pandemic. Methods of research conducted through scholarly journals showed the effects of isolation on mental and emotional health. As a synthesis of the faculty-led study away program, students were tasked to reflect on their experiences and emotions and develop creative peace as part of a group exhibit.The goal is to explore Berlin and the transformation through the lens of messaging that Germany used to shift the paradigm following the Nazi Regime with an incorporated critique of white supremacy and ethnic cleansing. Most of the nonprofit organizations rely heavily on volunteers. In a service-learning course that works with nonprofit community partners, it is important to foster a supportive climate. Traditional problem-solving procedures typically involve identifying a problem, brainstorming for possible solutions, evaluating possible solutions, and implementation. With positive framing, a traditional problem-solving approach could be transformed by the method of appreciative inquiry. Traditional problem-solving approach is weaknesses-based, and appreciative inquiry is strengths-based. A common deterrent faced by students conducting research is the lack of applicability of the subject matter to their lives. The integration of genealogical research can address this issue because it allows students to learn about, and celebrate, their family history. Traditional machine learning techniques often struggle to effectively capture the complex temporal dynamics present in real-world data streams. Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs), inspired by the spiking nature of biological neurons, offer a promising approach by inherently modeling temporal information through precise spike timing. Security system users require safeguarding inventory from potential theft while reducing manual tracking of physical objects. Our contribution harnesses the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision with YOLO to automate the process of tracking inventory items. The system sends alerts to the inventory manager when it detects particular events. Our approach was evaluated with KernProf profiling, interference, and orientation tests. The results were overall positive in these testing areas.

In the 19th century, menstruation was a topic often vieled in silence and misinformation. Nonetheless, it is pivotal in discussions on women's agency and societal shifts. This paper explores 19th-century medical perceptions, the dissemination of reproductive knowledge through women's publications, and a case study of Adventist health publications. Through primary source analysis, this paper reveals how access to medical knowledge empowered women, especially in pursuing higher education. Additionally, examination of Adventist health publications showcases alternative remedies to menstrual disorders, granting women control over their reproductive health. This study focuses on the uniquely-gendered experiences of enslaved women in the Caribbean in the 18^th century. First, I examine the racialized views of femininity and how enslaved women were denied the privileges of white femininity and forced to do the same work as men, yet were still valued less than their male counterparts because of their gender. The study goes on to highlight the sexual oppression enslaved women experienced, and its adverse effects on their health. Volunteerism during an individual’s college years can potentially influence a lifetime of service. This research focuses on the motivators and barriers undergraduate students at a private Christian university face, focusing on differences between helping and non-helping majors. Data is gathered through convenience sampling via surveys administered to current undergraduate students at Southern Adventist University. With the importance universities place on service learning, this research will show ways in which students can be motivated to engage in service opportunities. It will additionally showcase potential barriers that can be addressed to further service engagement among students leading to a lifetime of service.

They applied for and received a grant to provide care coordination services to the residents of Lebanon and the greater Linn County. It explains how they adapted to the restrictions imposed by the government, changing the nature of the interventions they were able to make. It concludes that the resilience, flexibility, and creativity of the Parish nurses and of their national umbrella organisation, Parish Nursing Ministries UK, have enabled the emergence of a growing and vibrant ministry.

Background: Critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) is a serious concern for newborns, accounting for 6-10% of infant deaths. A screening mechanism using pre- and post-ductal saturations was adopted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in 2012 for detecting such lesions. This screening guideline was limited in application to healthy term newborns. Thus, preterm infants or infants requiring supplemental oxygen support often receive the CCHD screening just before discharge when the opportunity to use to screen identify possible congenital heart disease has passed.
