Tio2 Quantum Dots Supported On Poly(Chloroaniline): Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation And Recyclability For Wastewater Treatment, Ibrahem A. Ibrahem

A poly(chloroaniline)/TiO₂ quantum-dot (ClAn/TiQD) hybrid photocatalyst was prepared by in situ oxidative polymerization to address the limited visible-light utilization and charge recombination commonly associated with TiO₂-based systems in dye-bearing wastewater treatment. Structural and spectroscopic analyses confirmed retention of anatase TiO₂ after hybrid formation, preservation of the conjugated polymer backbone, and interfacial coupling between TiQD and ClAn. TEM showed ClAn particles of 33–42 nm, TiQD domains of 3.9–6.9 nm, and hybrid particles of 22–25 nm. The common fig (Ficus carica L.) is a commercially significant fruit crop in Saudi Arabia, with particular importance in the Al-Taif highland region. In this study, three DNA barcodes (rbcL, ITS, and trnH-psbA) were evaluated on eleven fig cultivars collected from various geographically distinct sites within the Al-Taif highlands. A combination of three plant DNA barcoding markers, rbcL, ITS, and trnH-psbA, alongside selected morphological traits of mature leaves and fruits, was used to assess the genetic and phenotypic diversity among Fig varieties. The existing methods for cybersecurity using conventional machine learning or pure deep learning cannot reflect the complexity of spatial and temporal dependencies and cannot be adaptive against new cyber-attacks in UAV networks. Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review

Rule 14a-8 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 allows stockholders to submit proposals for inclusion in a company’s proxy materials. The rule assumes that Delaware law provides stockholders with the right to submit non-binding proposals for stockholder approval. But as many have observed, this assumption lacks a firm basis in state law, particularly in Delaware. If such a right exists, a stockholder conducting its own proxy solicitation could submit numerous precatory proposals, including those advancing narrow or special interests. This paper explores its impact on US companies, with a particular focus on compliance strategies under both direct and indirect applicability. It contrasts tactical compliance, which emphasizes risk mitigation while meeting minimum legal requirements, against strategic compliance, where companies use sustainability to gain a competitive edge in the market.

Low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been extensively deployed in logistics support, surveillance, and disaster relief. However, their open communication networks and inherently vulnerable navigation systems render them susceptible to false map information injection attacks (FMIIA). To effectively mitigate the impact of FMIIA, this paper presents a UAV local flight trajectory optimization framework that integrates a robust attack detection method based on initial excitation (IE) and an efficient local path reconstruction approach utilizing the Marden theorem. However, the field remains conceptually fragmented around what curiosity is and how it works, often pointing to related yet different understandings of the concept. Drawing on an in-depth analysis of 61 peer-reviewed articles, we aim to build a more coherent agenda for future research by answering two core questions: how has curiosity been conceptualised and studied in tourism research, and what gaps and directions emerge from the literature? The integration of hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) with vehicle-to-home (V2H) capabilities presents a promising pathway to achieve sustainable electrification in remote communities. This work presents an innovative energy management system (EMS) in which a multi-objective optimization problem is formulated to simultaneously minimize net present cost (NPC), lifecycle CO2 emissions, and loss of power supply probability (LPSP). Three configuration-specific objective functions are proposed where these configurations include (i) off-grid photovoltaic (PV)–wind turbine (WT)–battery energy storage system (BESS)–diesel generator (DG), (ii) on-grid PV–WT–BESS–Grid, and (iii) off-grid PV–WT–BESS–DG with V2H. Underground hydrogen storage (UHS) in salt caverns is a promising solution for large-scale renewable energy storage, but its long-term stability may be compromised by hydrogenotrophic microorganisms such as sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB). This study integrates global salt basin analysis, numerical modelling, and laboratory experiments to assess microbial risks associated with the hydrogen storage. We evaluated salt deposits across six continents, reviewed microbial communities in seawater sources commonly used for the leaching, and simulated SRB behaviour under varying hydrogen concentrations. Experiments using both commercial SRB strains and indigenous consortia from Western Australia revealed minimal microbial activity under hypersaline, low-carbon conditions. These findings …

Background: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in school-aged children and has been associated with impaired brain iron homeostasis. Evidence has shown that psychostimulant treatment may affect brain iron content in children with ADHD, however, longitudinal evidence remains limited. The present longitudinal study investigated the effect of psychostimulant treatment duration and age at treatment onset on brain iron content in children with ADHD. Methods: Neuroimaging and phenotypical data were collected from the publicly available Oregon ADHD-1000 dataset. Objective: To compare competency standards and regulatory expectations for osteopathic practice across jurisdictions where the profession is formally regulated or recognised as a healthcare profession. Methods: A documentary analysis was undertaken across regulated and formally recognised jurisdictions. National competency frameworks, regulatory standards and professional guidance documents were identified through regulatory and professional body websites and direct contact with relevant organisations. Nineteen national competency, regulatory or professional framework documents from 17 jurisdictions were included. Although Large Language Models (LLMs) produce fluent prose, they routinely tend to generate narratively sterile content for interactive media—backstories in which every conflict has been resolved before play begins, giving rise to what we call the Closure Paradox. Moreover, current evaluation metrics—from n-gram overlap to retrieval-augmented faithfulness scores—inadvertently reward this exact type of closure in cases in which it is undesired, leaving game designers without tools to measure whether a generated character is actually useful as a foundation for play. Osteosarcoma (OS), the most common primary bone malignancy of children and young adults, is intrinsically radioresistant, and outcomes for patients with unresectable or metastatic disease have not improved in over four decades. Single-dose radiation therapy (SDRT) is a potent modality against radioresistant, highly vascularized sarcomas, but its application in OS is constrained by dose-dependent normal tissue toxicity. Radiosensitizers achieving tumor control at lower doses therefore offer a direct route to widening the therapeutic window. Critically, OS radioresistance is not tumor-cell-autonomous.
